It's so fucking fun meeting some rando when you're playing some online shit who starts dropping Joel quotes. By the end of the match the vocabulary of the voice chat had devolved into LIDL and Mug Moment.

I can see why dumb internet video man repeat funny words, it's fun.

Surprisingly comfy, dumb fun. Had a game in the Master Chief Collection devolve into drawing penises with dropped weapons and half the players devolved into a chorus of "Pingas!" and "Who's been drawin' dicks?!".

The copious amounts of mad from the wannabe hardcore players in the map was just the cherry on top.

That has some real team fortress 2 energy. There's something magical about half of the players in a server deciding to a have a sandwich picnic and dance party in the middle of the map while the other half of the server fruitlessly tries to get them to stop and play seriously.

Honestly that doesn't surpise me. I can only imagine that discord is like reading the stream chat but it just keeps on going 24/7.
 
I've been reading on this forum for a minute. And it's brought up a question that I imagine that only ya'll could answer.

Do you think any of the members of the Vinesauce group know of this specific forum and if they do, do they never mention it as sort of a privacy thing?

most likely half of their viewership would sink due to the fact that kiwifarms is regarded as a forum of the devil himself

I'm sure they know about it. There are people here who talk directly to the streamers themselves, after all. But like Jesus said, it would be retarded to mention Kiwi Farms in stream. To 99% of the internet KF is just an alt right nazi harassment website that murders trannies and autists by the handful.

There are a few mods lurking in this thread, so it's not a far leap to assume that they've mentioned it to the streamers themselves. Given what I know about Vinny and Joel in particular - and by that, I mean based on absolutely nothing - they seem like they absolutely despise "drama mill" forums like Reddit that thrive on speculation. Ipso facto, they would abhor this thread and everything about it. We've already had multiple instances of cowtipping (although I personally believe that it was all done by the same person) and we've uncovered/documented some very old content that I'm sure they would've much preferred to have dissipate into the ether.

If they know about this thread, they'd also know what a small subset of their fanbase is using it. KF isn't very big to begin with, so there can't be more than maybe 50-100 people who know about this thread and go out of their way to access it. Why would they mention it to their larger fanbase and have them come looking for it? That'd be incredibly fucking dumb.

I'm almost certain that most naive viewers that have found this thread in some way have notified Vinny or Joel about it in emails. There isn't really any point or benefit of having any streamer or mod bring up this site to their audiences, either. This thread is mostly speculation and gossip aside from a bad apple or two that want to instigate, and there's not much that the streamers can do about what's being posted here anyway. There's been far much worse that's been said about them directly to them after 10 years of hosting a stream, so I don't think this thread in particular is gonna make them crumble.
 
The only reason I'm here is because the vinesauce forums have been gone and the subreddit is just memes. It's weird, because usually leddit isn't so bad if you're in a really small community, but I guess vinesauce has gotten too big for its own good. Similarly KF is a place for pretty good discussion outside of the 800 page threads of people screeching at each other
 
Vinny visiting that person's island the other day in AC was kinda nice, and surprisingly not cringy. Chick was nice, Vinny had fun touring the island, etc. I hope he does it more, but not too much that it loses its charm or gets cringy with weird fans and vinesauce sperging everywhere.
He'd definitely need mods or someone to vet people/their islands, which would take some fun out of it.

I've really been enjoying his AC streams. Just chill as hell. I hope he does more decorating and stuff on stream too. His little bamboo garden wasn't mind-blowing but it was neat and he seemed to have fun with it.

I haven't watched his other streams, but isolation seems to be wearing him down a little.
Also I see Joel is back. Only peeked at the first half of the first AC stream. He having fun with it?

Joel's AC stream so far was pretty good, he spends like the first hour or so faffing around cause the left controller was dead, so he was turning his apartment upside down to try and find any kind of working replacement lmao.

Like.. I'm pretty certain that the mods occassionally check this thread or at least make mentions of it and in occassion I see a kiwi meme pop up in stream. Fun fact, my vectorised Sonichu showed up in a repainted mod that Vinny streamed and that was curated by staff.

Certainly Jabroni Mike for research because he currently is helping the "Down the Rabbit Hole" creator with discussions we've tapped on like TempleOS for example.

It's absolutely a certainty that they know of this website, Joel and Vinny in particular since we know of their /v/ origins and it's not a far leap from /v/ to Kiwi Farms. By extension, I'm willing to bet money that they have seen this thread or at least been told about it as well, but I'm sure they made the wise decision of either skimming it briefly and then dropping it or not reading it at all. If I was in their shoes, I certainly wouldn't want to see what the average KF user has to say about me, especially given the site's reputation and their already negative experiences with more mainstream sites like Reddit.

It's always fun to see something from here make its way to the stream proper. It's like a little in-joke, and in all honesty, I bet some of the stuff we've archived here are things the streamers forgot about entirely or lost to time. Some of it will never see the light of day, like Joel's old art from when he was still exh0rder, but it's kind of sweet to think that they could see that content and save it for their own uses.
 
Was struggling for ideas for a new icon. Joel ended up inspiring me to go with this.
