Just like with gambling, Joel has a tendency to compulsively buy some cheap useless shit. Recently he uploaded his angry rant about tons of juice boxes he bought. It's funny.
 
When you put Vappy into perspective, he really became half of Vinesauce (mainly Vinny in this case, not sure if he did Joel's uploads too) for a long time. It's sad to reflect on the impact he had on the community and growing it, even though I'm assuming it was a minor growth. It's sad to think of why he was dropped off in the first place, though it was definitely called for considering the actions he took and the way it made Vinny feel. No mistake he was a giant idiot for putting Vinny in a furry porn commission of his character, unfortunately it's par for the course with the kind of person who is an autistic furry on the internet idolizing or holding an internet personality in such high regard. The tism was strong, but it was tism used for the good of many via the fullsauce uploads. Even if you disliked him for whatever reason, he did positively contribute to Vinesauce as a whole.

I couldn't get through that video his sister posted. Her shaky voice is so gut wrenching.

I feel bad for everyone involved, mainly cause Rona is so fucked up to experience by the looks of things. Hopefully his family, Vinny and the Vinesauce community deal with this amicably and let his past mistakes go peacefully. Ultimately he was a pretty big part of Vinesauce all things considered and the probably thousands of uploads of backlog stream archives are definitely worth commending. Sad to hear he's gone even if he was no longer part of fullsauce for some time.

If I'm being honest I don't think Vinny gave much of a shit about Vappy's death, when David Bowie died he was legitimately devastated and we all know how that stream went. For fuck's sake he was even more devastated when it was Kurt Cobain's 26th death anniversary a few weeks ago lmao
As he said, Vappy was a dude he worked with for some years. He'll react the same way if DesertP dies. They're just (free) employees to him that may or may not have a crush on him.

He might not've actually known much about vappy since my understanding is that vappy was just a fan who was archiving the streams and then they made a deal to make it official. And apparently quarantine has been rough on him since normaly he spends most of the day out of the house, so trying not to dwell on upsetting stuff while not having an easy way to bury it afterward.

Etika's death probably felt closer to home because he was a fellow streamer and New Yorker. The whole thing with streaming and how it can affect mental
health or add on to pre-existing problems may have been quite relatable to Vinny.

Also, even though Vappy and Vinny worked together in some sense, they went their separate ways and were likely not communicating much
after Vap left his position of editing/posting vids to the channel.

Expounding too much on Vappy's death would also open him up to questions about the nature of their relationship and that's obviously a hop skip and a jump into being asked about the reason he got fired. I think he was smart to keep it short and sweet.

Also, as someone previously mentioned, I do think that Vinny was also trying not to dwell too much on heavy stuff at this point in time, when he can't get away from it. He's had mental health issues for a long time and I imagine quarantine is exacerbating it. He's protecting himself as much as he can while still paying his respects.

Etika's death was by suicide, which is much more preventable than a pandemic, so you can talk about mental health for a while longer than the virus which everyone hears about everywhere.
Besides Etika had a story going on with his twitter and youtube breakdowns, and vappy just happened to get sick and pass away, that's it. It's shitty to judge someone's reaction to someone dying based on 2 minutes

AFAIK, DesertP and Vinny have a better friendship than he and Vappy do. Granted, both are mods for his channel, but I think Vappy preferred being the "behind the scenes" type of person that just uploaded streams, whereas DesertP is more open to doing collaboration streams and being more proactive in the community. Doesn't mean he cared any less about Vappy. And like he said in the clip you linked earlier, he isn't all that great at talking about death and loss, so I don't expect him to have a eulogy prepped for this kinda stuff each time it happens. It's an uncomfortable subject for a lot of people, and I wouldn't think he'd have anything much different to say than what the rest of the community has said already.
 
So yeah I'm just popping in to say RIP Vappy, he was alright, we spoke occasionally but I'm 100% certain I was just another fart on the breeze to him in the streams. Vinny likes most of his mods if not he keeps things professional, which is a very important skill being a no drama streamer, Vappy left a year ago and no one wants to talk about it (but if they do its all under wraps) This is what I can piece together;

What caused a huge rift was when Vappy posted a lot of furry porn on Furaffinity and once made Vinny in his NSFW artworks. Vinny was in the background of Vappy's character being boinked, which frankly is a serious fucking reason to end a professional relationship. I can clearly see why he wouldn't want himself depicted behind a Twinky Asian Vaporen getting stuffed by a some wolf fucker. Also, apparently he kept persuing the Mike and Vinny ship.

It doesn't help that Vinny has been quite open about not liking furries, even though they are a major base of his viewership, he'll move on with any furry-esque art of him very rapidly with a "This is done by Horsecocklover looks nice -- and here's an excellent piece from Jermasucks985!"

Vappy was an exception, he was falling out with Vinny for some time and they moved on quietly. Vinny wanted to make a short mention, still trying to appear polite and sympathetic. He has every right to be distant about what he said about Vappy, he did fucking post porn of Vinny and shipped him with Mike. He was correct for being very distant about the whole process and would have made no mention of it if people weren't spamming his chat. The community doesn't want to spark ANY drama.

It's clear that people still like Vappy and I still kind of do, I do wish him peace in the next life but yeah that was a terrible decision that ruined their friendships.

Thankgod John Fullsauce remains a mystery machine. John, you're good, hopefully you don't post furry porn.
 
Mr. Fullsauce so far has been a good egg, even when he accidentally posts personal stuff to the Fullsauce twitter (non-political personal stuff at that)
I have faith in him or her.

While ol Vappy was a male fujoshit? AND shipped Vinny and Mike? he must have started a fire during the snipperclips stream.

But I believe that on the other side maybe Vappy is sorry for the "sins" he's committed.
 
Changing the topic a bit, but can I just say that I enjoy when Vinny ignores the couple of mods in his chat that are usually drawing attention to themselves?
I felt like that was going on a lot in last night's stream, with some stupid meme unrelated to the game.

I don't participate in chat a whole lot, so I tend to keep it closed. But man is that behavior off-putting when I do happen to be paying attention to it.

I respect the mods in his chat that are more chill and are usually focused on the game or contributing to the discussion at hand.
 
Was it DesertP raiding the stream? He has a good rapport with his community and much of the community of Chatyot. Him shitposting around is just tradition. He's also a good bean and has fun with chat.

Vinny's mods are just acquaintances of his that he gave mod powers. Some of them are good, but most of the good ones came in around 2019 or 2018. Before that people like Mono would actively be in chat, and instead of banning some guy spamming slurs, they'd do jack shit. This distinctly happened during Vin's stream of Yooka-Laylee. I'll never forget how useless they were. Sometime after his Banjo-Kazooie Playthrough, he also made Charonian a mod, and she actively admitted to going to Anti-Trump protests, which wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't for the fact a lot of crazy bastards go to such events.

Also she's a weeb who knows Japanese who gives off this feeling of "haha japanese are so dumb and creepy even though i spent several years learning their language and have a bunch of anime figures as my profile". I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the useless mods are in the unofficial discord, which I heard is an absolute shitshow that Vinny at one point or another said he wanted NOTHING to do with.
 
Charonian is also a hardcore Fujoshit, according to DesertP's stream of the last bit of FF7RE last night. She was getting real into the gay Cloud and Sephiroth bait. She's a mod there as well.
