What's the context? DQ11 or Black Mesa?
It was made during the Black Mesa stream when Vinny was talking about Luigi giving birth. For the record I’m like 80% sure it was made ironically but it’s still pretty hilarious none the less.

EDIT:
Just an interesting comment I found on the last Black Mesa youtube upload.

What a crazy thing to get mad about. Vinny's entire streaming model from the jump has been based on fan interaction and responding to their comments and questions; some of the most interesting streams have been ones where he has had back and forth conversations with fans. I can't tell if this guy is a brand new watcher or if he's just dumb, but either way, he's incredibly out of the loop. Vinny's response was perfect, too; a polite yet firm "fuck off" was all that was needed.

I will admit though, it does get a little frustrating during those times where he's so wrapped up in a topic discussion with chat that he wastes 10+ minutes in a game either dying over and over or goes around in circles due to not paying attention to a puzzle or something. In other words those vineBlinding moments.

I know it's a joke among moonmoon's community to make a fake outrage about channels that ban or blacklist moon2PREGARIO and moon2PREGIGI but Vinny's seen enough weird shit to know that mpreg exists and is the product of the internet being weird, and I wonder how mindfucky it must be to have known about mpreg as a joke and now all of a sudden you have to take it seriously.

Not gonna lie I kinda love that Pregario and Pregigi started off as some ridiculous joke emote and is causing meltdowns elsewhere on twitch, that's very fucking funny

Yeah, that's kind of an issue with any streamer who interacts with their fans as much as Vinny does, it's part of the charm, but it can get old watching him seemingly drop everything to have a back and forth with chat. In the end, I feel like that's one of his selling points since his streams feel a bit like you're at some friend's place just shooting the shit and fucking around with random stuff rather than just watching some dude play games for a few hours if that makes any sense.

I am a little biased toward that format, simply because I think the alternative (a streamer who just plays the game with little to no fan interaction) would be much too dry to even be worth watching. I love no-commentary let's plays since it makes it really easy to get the experience of a game without having to deal with some obnoxious rando talking over it, but that's something you can pause and skip around in; a stream like that would be hellishly boring, especially if the streamer got lost/got stuck in an area and you have to just wait for them to figure it out while they're hardly speaking.

Between the two options, I just find Vinny's approach more entertaining, even if the actual quality of his playthrough suffers for it. But, in all honesty, it's Vinny - he's not exactly well-known for being a gaming master. I think holding his content to that kind of standard is just misunderstanding what his channel is about right from the beginning.

This is somewhat unrelated, but has anyone made a script or program that lets you download Twitch VODs along with the chat? I feel like half the experience of watching livestreams is seeing the chat's reaction, and it's a shame Twitch deletes VODs 2 months after they air. (They absolutely have the Bezos money to pay for storage, but they're just cheap.)

I have a program that rips VODs and a program that logs chats, but not one that does both in one go. Most people I know who do that screen-record the VODs in question. I can look around for one though.

Actually there was this reddit bot I remember where if you posted a twitch clip, It would automatically capture both the video and chat and then archive it as an mp4. Maybe it works off of something similar?

I enjoy watching Vinny and Joel cause they play games they enjoy and don't speed rush through it or flex "mlg gamur skillz"

For the younger viewers that are not troons/sjw I would think for them it's like watching that cool uncle play video games?

If there's one thing I can't deal with it's when Vinny gets caught up in a music discussion and just rants for 45 minutes about the same topics he's discussed in dozens of other streams. I get it, he's passionate about music but fucking hell it's like a hipster forcing their music taste down your throat sometimes.

I mean, if you're not there for the streamer and his preferences, why not just play the game yourself? It's not really any different from when a streamer goes on a tangent on a certain genre or series of video games.

If you're watching Vinny of all people and not expecting long swooping discussions of music ranging from exquisite taste to absolute shite, then I think you're watching the wrong stream.

Then again I rarely watch much Vinny so maybe he exclusively rants about King Gizzard for 50% of his stream time now lol.

I just hate when Vinny talks about Star Trek. I remember him standing around in Splatoon 2 rambling about TNG for like 2 hours. I should have just skipped it since it was a fullsauce video though.

The stream he did last night with his mods went between awkward and meh. Was kinda funny when the furry one, norix, came on out of nowhere and Vinny was like "thought you would be Desert." I really couldn't tell any of their voices apart though.

I mean, you also have to understand that he's been talking to his stream almost every single night for 10 years... there's bound to be reoccurring discussions on the stream. Of course it can be a bit annoying when he rambles about something while not making progress in the game he's streaming, but I do respect the amount of charisma he's able to maintain after all this time-- despite being an introverted person. Talking while playing a game simultaneously isn't easy for a lot of people, so I can see where he could be dealing with that issue as well.

I personally don't mind the occasional Star Trek or music discussion since it's helped me discover new shows/music/movies etc. but I can't lie and say that watching him make simple mistakes in a game while ranting doesn't get frustrating. I do hope he does more music Q&A streams on the redvox channel soon so that we don't have to hear him answer the same question about his thought on Queens of the Stone Age over and over again.

I can't agree since I'm also a massive Star Trek fan. I get so excited when I hear him honest to god fangirling over it and rambling for ages about all of the episodes and characters he loves. I think this goes back to what @Chin of Campbell was saying - as relatively long-term fans, we know by now that that's an interest of his, and to expect him to reel it in is sort of just unrealistic. It's been ten years of him talking at length about these subjects; he's clearly not going to change that any time soon. You gotta either find a way to enjoy it or skip it and wait for the next stream; it's not like they're infrequent.

And he's probably running out of things to talk about. Revisiting the topics that interest him is at least a way to keep himself engaged, even if it makes some of the viewers check out.

That's something I can agree with, but honestly he makes simple mistakes all the time just by not paying attention. I guess it's more blatant when he's rambling about something, but he does it quite often and it's not really a departure from his usual behavior.

Another aspect to remember is viewers won't catch every stream and watch every fullsauce video. And even during the livestreams themselves many inevitably come in late and ask questions that Vinny already answered earlier, be it current events or topics that have been gone over for years. And he needs to address them multiple times so chat doesn't start bitching (though some kind souls in the throng do their part and tell newcomers/latecomers the scoop to make Vin's job easier in that department).

I'd be lying if I said that, on a personal level, I didn't get annoyed whenever Vinny pauses the game to drone on about a subject he's already touched on in great detail for the umpteenth time that week, but it's unfortunately something that just comes with the territory. Besides, the dude's gotta cope with dealing with exceptional preteens on a nightly basis somehow, and like just about everybody the best way for him to do that is to discuss something he enjoys.

Vinny's banter isn't as interesting as Joel or Jerma's because of his worship of media and celebrities. Streaming 6 nights a week is more of a hindrance to his creativity since he's rolling in twitch and youtube bux.

Yeah I kinda zone out when the music or star wars/trek talk starts cause I'm not into that at all. What I enjoy the most is IRL stories such as the staple clown incident he talked about in his Twilight princess playthrough.
