Edit: They latched on to "V-dub" also making him ~*gaaaaaaaaaayyyyy*~
I wonder when this started. I wouldn't be surprised if Vinny made a joke about Vdub and then certain people latched onto it thinking it had to do with
gayness, then they added it to their Vdub lore on tumblr. You know if there are Vlinny-kinnies, there's bound to be V-dub kins. I noticed Vinny had a little
speech about the art section recently and people adding messages in their art to make a statement. Makes ya think.

Lmao I think we found our artist.

Mentions a few posts back that they're surprised we haven't brought up something they're "invoked" in, I assume they mean involved.

I had my suspicions about that post way back, but I didnt think too deeply about it. If she's been lurking here and 4chan it adds up with
recent tweets made on her alt account that come off like she started googling /v/ threads about Vinesauce that mention people on the booru.
You're not going to automatically "join the cool kids" if you just parrot stuff from here or 4chan and act like you've been deep in it.
And checking it now, she's going off, so yes, she outed herself. All I can say to that is LURK MOAR.

Continuing from my last post: if you want the short of it, other than the merch thing, it was found out that she emailed Vinny a bunch of art
(a lot) related to Red Vox and expected him to have something to say about it. There are more details related to that, but you can DM if you want.

elina50.png

She kept trying to put her reply to Vinny on blast, but wasnt getting the attention she wanted.
elina52.png

elina57a.png

After a lot of responses from the community, she moved to a different account, blocked a
bunch of people and ripped up all of her Vinesauce art and threw them in trash bags(thought I had a
screen for that, but I'll probably have to post it later). She also had some interesting replies to
people on her alt)
elina100.png

elina105.png

elina108.png
After this, she was going off about an artist on the booru copying her and thots in the community(those screens are buried somewhere I think).
She deactivated her old accounts for a while and everyone thought she made her peace since she moved to a new art account and is working
on more stuff. The alt got reactivated for some reason and she's back to attacking the community. Im guessing she did some lurking and came
across old drama and stuff on 4chan from way way back.

That pretty much sums it up.

While I do understand that the easier reaction would be to meet autism with hostility, it doesn’t really bring us forward in having our “person of interest” share their information with us.

@Pile_of_Trash in our defense we are only working with the information given us. If you want us to consider another side then your best bet is to come forward as honestly as you can. We all make mistakes and I’d personally like to believe that anyone can be redeemed. You can make things much easier on yourself if you tell the truth.

wonder what's the other side of the story we need to know, because as far as we can see, all we know is from her side (tweets and such. maybe we need some actual context?). sure, vinny goes quick through the art, not giving much comment other than "that's great", "phenomenal" or "...yeah" which might be discouraging if you're waiting for some actual feedback, but what could you expect from someone who streams daily and maybe is reasonably tired? not trying to be a dick to the artist but...cut him some slack.
and maybe, just maybe, the "hope you're not doing it for the live comment" thing doesn't means "hope you're not being an attention whore", but an actual "hope you honestly like my band and not only because i'm a streamer"??? just suggesting. the guy seems to take his music seriously.

Speaking of booru, Im surprised no one here has brought up the whole El*na D ordeal

EDIT: Fucked up and forgot that I hadn't caught up yet; I'm a little hungover so I'm not exactly operating at optimal capacity. Sorry!

Can you all fucking shut up and learn both sides of the story?

Ah, so that's the drama you were involved in that you mentioned a few pages back. I didn't forget!

Well, if there's more information here that we aren't privy to, why not share it with us? If there's some crucial piece of this that's causing us to misrepresent this situation, you should share it, because I'd never even heard about this situation til now.

Can you all fucking shut up and learn both sides of the story?
Yeah, cause throwing yourself a pity party online and getting mad at people that don't agree is totally the way to go about your unresolved personal issues with the community... makes sense.

You can't expect respect when you don't give it. If you have more that you'd like to add to your story, you're more than welcome to post your side of things instead of writing everyone off as stupid or whatever for not knowing everything.

okay, gonna change the subject real quick and be really curious about that
There was an artist(LL) that used to post art for Vinny a long time back. He would often draw bizarre looking
Vinnys and sometimes include messages in his art. From what I know, he used to get upset when Vinny couldnt get to the
art if he was too tired. He also had a habit of shit talking/complaining in other streamers' chats. I think even before the second guy showed up (PSG, which I'll get to in a sec) LL gave the impression that he was trying to self-promote
through the booru. His behavior is probably one of many reasons why more rules have been implemented there.
LL was banned at one point and revealed what happened on his twitter, so I can give him that for admitting his mistakes and continuing on with his art. It wasn't just one incident, but a bunch of incidents piling up:

lemon2a.png
Now PSG came and seemed fairly normal for a while. He'd draw Cartoon Network-inspired artwork.
There was a point where he started creating a bunch CN-style BRBs for Vinny to use, and you could tell it was
getting to be a bit much. LL and PSG had a habit of uploading close to each other/doing art collabs, and a few people started noticing that their art styles seemed similar. On their twitters, LL says he's from Panama and PSG says he's from Atlanta.

primal2.png
Later on a mod took note that the ips for LL and PSG were the same and brought this up to Vinny.
Vinny confronted LL, but he either didn't say anything or denied it. After LL stopped showing up on Vinny's art segments, PSG's stopped showing up too. Then "they" started making art for Joel, then later Mike.

They both took their art to twitter and had a habit of making posts in a close time frame and replying to each other often.
Word got out that there was a high possibility they were the same person, and honestly I think if people still follow
them after knowing that it's either out of pity or amusement.

I tuned into a Mike stream randomly (not too long ago) and he was showing off art. There was LL's art followed by
PSG. It was fucking weird.

Can you all fucking shut up and learn both sides of the story?
Thought this place was nice turns out it’s just 4chan 2.0
Girl, keep this up and you might find yourself a thread about your self. You are behaving and reacting like an lolcow.

She's been VERY active now.

If THIS is how you wanna be known and be "famous" well, have fun! If you want us to know both sides then share your side instead of going into a tardrage.

Edit: please do not contact her on twitter, if she REALLY wants to share her side she can post it here

Here's a Vinny compilation that has some of his older stuff including his early ARRR PEE voice

Still convinced Vinny is just a dudebro who somehow accidentally ended up streaming a funny-haha game and kept the banter going for his IRL friends, then slowly realized he's making a living off of a degenerate hivemind breeding ground for Game Grumps-tier shippers, except all they want is Vinny to say the funny line.

I knew it was bad but holy shit, not this rancid. People labeling themselves over contributing to the booru? What the fuck.

i never understood that meme, only that it was funny for some reason. still don't know the context many years after
Grand Dad is an easy one. It's not funny for more than a certain amount of time, but for whatever reason it blew up with the Sivagunner people making shitposts. At its core, grand dad is part engrish, part absurdity and part Joel's reaction. It came from a Mario Bootleg stream and for whatever reason exploded in popularity.

I think the level of absurdity plays a part in it being funny, cause who sees Mario and thinks Flintstones man? That, and it's kind of funny to hear the Flintstones theme start up after Joel loudly reacts to the title. Once it broke out of Joel's bubble into the greater Vinesauce bubble, then out into the Sivagunner guys, having songs randomly switch into the Flintstones theme became a huge running joke for months. After it left Joel and became less about him reacting to it and more about referring to the Flintstones theme randomly starting, it became its own weird joke about how if you get Flintstoned, you've been Grand Dad-ed. Sort of like a delayed timer rickroll.

It was funny for a while, and the sivagunner guys definitely played a bigger part in making it more interesting through creative means and propagating it over time than Joel did (my money's on he got sick of it after a few days), but it got stale within a few months. The people still parroting it these days are either extremely late to the party or still somehow think it's funny. As a rickroll-like it didn't get even a quarter of the shelf life of a joke like that but it definitely got a lot more creative with its application, and I can appreciate it for that.

It came from a chinese bootleg of Mario with a recolored Mario; said GRAND DAD 7 or something like that.
Joel showed it and then people ran away it to the point of shouting it out at Vinny during conventions, thinking it's also his meme or something.

To think the booru started as a place to just shitpost and draw dumb stuff for the streams. Now, I actually do appreciate the level of talent
that goes into the art posted there, but people take it way too seriously.

Hey @Pile_of_Trash I'd be interested in hearing your side of the story (assuming you're the artist we're talking about). Nothing bad can happen to you because of you sharing it. Well, except of more puzzle pieces. Most of us probably just want to hear your side without prejudice, tho.

There is that one dude that is ALWAYS posting art, but I assume he’s just doing it because he likes to draw and isn’t doing it for attention? (Cheesy)

It's another female artist. The discomfort Vinny had with that artist started with the "Sauce Boss" art bomb that happened on the booru.
I read that it originated on the Vinesauce discord because of her. After it happened, she made a video on her YT channel that
celebrated the fact that she started it. Bragging about something like that is a little off-putting. I guess without considering how Vinny feels
about something like this, creating an unexpected art bomb with the community for a streamer might seem like an exciting thing.
4y38946979.png

From reading around there's some level of uneasiness about how much Vinny art this person draws (if you exclude the style of the art).
This is only from some part of the community, as others seem to be fine with the amount of art and the style of the way this Vinny is drawn.
However, you have to keep in mind, Vinny had mentioned many times in the past that he isn't always comfortable seeing art of himself.
So if any artist draws a lot of art depicting him, it's going to be awkward.

Now on the style of the art: there was an incident recently on the booru where a handful of people were drawing Vinny in the style of her art
which caused confusion. I think this may have been a case of people she interacted with on Vinecord or elsewhere latching on to that kind of Vinny
and drawing art for it, at the same time, creating a mini-art bomb. It may have been out of her hands, Im not entirely sure.

She also drew the following art because of criticism over the style of her Vinny, and upon seeing it he commented that it was getting meta.

Bonus: This was also drawn not too long ago. Mocking the criticism as well, perhaps?

One thing you don't want to do when submitting art is trying to make a statement about what chat or others outside of chat complain about.
He doesn't care how he's drawn, he doesn't care if the artist and chat are having disagreements about the art. Guy just wants to show art and sleep.

Now, some people may have complaints about how Vin feels when it comes to the booru and certain artists, but people should be thankful
that art segments are still a thing and that a rule hasn't been put in place to stop artists from drawing him completely. After previous experience
with booru artists, guy has a low-tolerance these days.

Oh yeah, that reminds me. Imp Vlinny made an appearance on the booru recently

Looks like this person has a high case of tumblritis

as far as i know, i think she had little to nothing to do with that. found her tumblr page saying that she will stop drawing the devil hair Vinny because it was gettin' a little out of hand and understood that it was gettin weird for Vinny. i'll give her props for that. maybe the statement was for those people who would try to make a persona or something out of her design, like the whole vlinny thing

which by the fuckin way, why is Vlinny a thing??? i know it came from tomodachi life (i think??? not really into the guy's content) but why do people made a big deal out of it???
