Heres a recent mostly music interview Vinny did some time back

This was a 'private' stream that did not go up on the main twitch channel. Consequentially, it's a lot more relaxed and was mutually enjoyable for both Vinny and the chat.

On the subject of twitch gift subs, I get the feeling he thinks it's a waste of money. Some people have literally spend hundreds on gift subs and its ridiculous.

Since this thread really loves speculating; how the hell did Limes get bumped up to Twitch Staff status AND get "Founding" status? It's that badge next to a name that says "1st", by the way. I just don't get it. She's a nobody compared to the big two of Vinesauce, yet she gets all that? Seems real fishy.

I really don't think Vinny is as in bad shape or hates streaming as much as this thread suggests. Just last night he said he was in a good place and that streaming is more important to him than his music. He said he doesn't even remember how to play any of his old songs. I'd wager he'd quit the music before the streaming at this point. His fanbase has gotten absolutely fucking wretched, though. I made a Twitch account to chat, since I had never participated with the stream before, and I was instantly permabanned for saying "retarded". I sent an appeal stating I didn't know that word was verboten, and included a clip of Vinny making retard jokes, but I haven't heard back and don't expect to, honestly. Hopefully when Luigi's Mansion 3 comes out we get some terminal 7 and classic Vinny humor, because that, I admit, has been lacking in his streams nowadays.

I was purged in Mike's chat for saying ni🅱🅱a (exactly as typed), you can't say anything on Twitch anymore. It's best to just shitpost in youtube comments a or subreddit

I actually saw that post and I immediately knew there was another Kiwi in chat. Hilarious that even proxy words are causing snowflakes to flip out now.

The founder badge thing is something Twitch just added for all streamers. It's just a special icon for the earliest subscribers of a channel, so she was the first sub of whatever channel you saw it in. I dunno about the Twitch Staff, I assume that means she actually works at Twitch in some capacity.

As for the moderation stuff, I went into it extensively above and it's why I don't find value in watching larger streamers live vs VODs on YouTube.

Not a day goes by without Twitch implementing some new unnecessary thing to get people to dump money on their platform. This is basically the only reason they haven't had too much competition for streaming, so much of their userbase makes an investment specifically on the website. Different sub badges, bits, sub tiers, etc. Twitch was its best before they implemented the Creative tab and branched out past video games.

I've been wondering if there's any good Jerma playthroughs to watch. I get a bit bored of just Vinny and Joel when he plays something interesting. The whole month of October gets boring, everybody has to play ~spoopy gaems~

I have to admit, I have one particular question upon stumbling across this thread when I got curious as to why Vappy was no longer associated with Fullsauce.

As a trans person myself, why exactly are there many issues with "trans rights/pride" etc on here? (Granted I realize this was quite a ways back in the thread now so I might be reviving an already dead topic, if so, my bad lmao) I don't exactly hold anything against anybody for it since I generally distance myself as far away from the trans community as possible for reasons I probably don't have to explain - self-hatred, hatred for pretty much anybody who might be unable to immediately accept them as they are, being generally invasive and not to mention outright cannibalistic if you go to certain boards, trans people fucking HATE each other for some reason - and so on so forth, but is it because it's basically being shoehorned into everything now that EVERYTHING has to celebrate trans rights, or do you guys just straight up not like trans people?

I don't want it so seem like I'm attacking anybody here since I'm wholeheartedly in support of free speech, but at the same time I'm asking out of my own curiosity because I like to know why some people feel the way they do. I mean no disrespect.

Actually I think I found out why pretty quickly after some research, I see this place is what has formed from the CWCki stuff from way back when, I remember reading tons of Dramatica shit about them, now I very very much understand. LMAO

Don't be nice to these goons. Every motherfucker on KF is a dick to trans people with pretty much no reasoning behind it. To bring us back on subject, there's a perfect example of that right in this Vinesauce thread - people complain about the pride hearts spam, specifically the trans pride spam, but I literally never notice it, and I'm a regular Joel and Vinny viewer. They're just trying to find reasons to give you and other trans people shit over nothing. Do yourself a favor and bow out now, because the rest of the Farms don't get much better. I'm honestly only here to talk about video games and make fun of ProJared. (And if that's power level-y, oh well!)

I do understand his reasoning for not pushing for Vinesauce as a community to grow. Since 2016, ish, most of the members operate independently and just use the 'Vinesauce' moniker in a very tangiential sense. I believe the incentive for this was to prevent people being guilt-tripped or made to feel responsible for others, as a matter of fact.

I do wonder if that decision was made in light of what was happening with some other "video game streaming groups" around the same time, where a singular member doing creepy or illegal shit was bringing all of the other members down with them by association. It did feel like more of a natural separation and drifting apart, but knowing Vinny's hatred for drama, I wouldn't be surprised if that was calculated or done on purpose. Even though they still technically use the Vinesauce name, he'll now be much less liable if someone does something fucked up, because he can always use the excuse that "Vinesauce is just a name not an organization" and "I am not responsible for the sayings or doings of any of the other streamers, they make their money independently of me." It's a pretty good way to cover his ass.

I somewhat get it, a lot of people on the internet generally dislike groups due to the worse people within them rather than judging the entire group as a whole as people generally are wont to do, I feel the same about this place, not within 5 minutes of making my account did some guy welcome me on my profile and we had a discussion about morbid art and music. I like that stuff and while I'm a largely "live and let live" person as far as politics and social views go - whilst obviously having my own but not caring to try and pressure them onto other people because to me that's fucked up and wrong - and even on here whilst people aren't exactly taking kindly to my question, it mostly seems to just be because I derailed a discussion in favour of an older topic in the same conversation which is just poor judgement on my end.

More on topic, I am also a regular Joel and Vinny viewer, have watched them for years, and whilst if I do notice anything like this it annoys me because it comes off as forced, for the most part I don't see it all that often to begin with and I'm sure a fair few of the people involved are just the average pride type and just happen to not be the type of person I gel with because pride is often overblown imho.

Gas the trannies
Gender war now

To get back on topic, I used to be much more into Vinesauce a few years ago than I am now, but even then it's mostly just Joel and Vinny that I've watched. My favorite videos are theirs from 4-5 years ago. I don't know whether that's because they were actually better or funnier or because of nostalgia and shit. I also don't really watch the streams live and even when I do I have chat closed. I mostly just watch Jerma now.

Lurk moar.

Back on the subject, I'm here mostly to post on the YandereDev thread (what got me to join, I used to be a fan of that "game" ), seeing the crap in the Tumblr thread, pointing and laughing with the rest.

This thread here causes it's the only Vinesauce thread free of "uwu i'm trans adn gaaaayyyy baybeee!!! uwu" shit. And can ask about the "memes" that troons force I.E. "DK SAYS TRANS RIGHTS!" And just chat about the recent streams without seeing some rando post about how gay and trans they are. (why I stay away from the Discord)

Anyone here going to view the Heckraiser? Still, no word of what charity aside from "Proceeds from sales will go to Variety is hope" I just hope charity is going towards something legit and not "uwu for gay kids! and trans kids to transition! uwu"

Welcome to Kiwi Farms, everyone's a fat, white, redneck Nazi. Enjoy your stay.
(In all honesty. Just don't talk about your personal life (powerlevel) and don't allow yourself to be affected, and you'll be fine.)

I honestly find most of Vinny's streams dull, and I don't watch the other streamers at all. I hate to be 'that guy' but i look forward to putting on his Sunday Streams from the Full Sauce channel and that's about it.

A few posts back someone suspected Vin divorcing himself from the 'Vinesauce organisation' was a move to save-face, and you'd be right. As mentioned before, Fred has caused controversy, as has GPM, a former streamer who essentially stole hundreds of dollars in donations to fund luxuries, rather than essential living expenses.

Does anyone watch streamers other than Joel, Vinny, and Rev? I honestly think they're just streaming to an empty crowd at this point.

In all seriousness, I tend to agree - Vinny is a funny guy, but I only stay engaged when I'm watching highlights. I love a long stream, but most of Vinny's are really dry until something really funny happens, and I get bored of the dry parts. Joel is at least low-level funny all the way through, and then spikes a few times throughout the stream.

I'm still unclear as to why GPM thought he was exempt from the "Vinesauce streamers can't solicit donations" rule. Asking for donations is fine in itself, but he went into the Vinesauce group knowing that that was a big no-no for them, and not only did he do it anyway, but he did so fraudulently. Very weird decision on his part - I've never seen a guy get barred from an organization so quickly.

And honestly, Fred is such an aggressively unfunny person that the real controversy should be that he's still allowed to stream with them. I don't think Fred has been funny since the bootleg Street Fighter 2 stream he did with Joel like 7 years ago.

It's not going to a charity at all lol, all the money is going to Variety is Hope. I feel like not a lot of people know that and that they're actually kind of banking on that so that they get more money and less questions. I DMed the Twitter page asking about what exactly the money is being used for and their response was basically "administrative costs" and "growth". But what administrative costs does an event like this have? And what money do they need to grow it when it's been growing itself for years? I honestly don't assume that they're going to misuse the money, but it does bother me that they're not being more upfront/transparent.

That troubles me. Cause if later on, they decide to pick a charity that "offends" the troon/sjw/gaaaays Vinesauce followers or one that the other side would be bothered by its gonna be chaos no matter what.

I kind of get the feeling though this might be a way for those who got rejected by Vinny for merch to sell their merch through them? it's just a guess tho.
