:story: A lot of gold in that thread, but honestly it's refreshing to see that most of the people there see through trans spammers and want nothing to do with them. Almost gives me hope for the community.
One can only wonder how long before someone else that trans tells the "gamer rage" sperg to shut up with spamming trans memes and the like and let other comments not doing meme crap to be seen. If they really did want Vinny to say trans-rights, one could expect him to say it in a normal conversation that doesn't have some fanboy spamming it and that's assuming Vinny isn't being dragged into anything related to Vinesauce.

Well to be fair trans people do face some level of persecution depending on the location. We have to remember that in an irl context, yes there are laws set in place to provide protections for trans rights, however making sure those rights are actually enforced is an entirely different story. Then again just because laws are set in place does not mean that the bad people go away for good. I do agree that people should continue to advocate for the rights they're owed but at the same time these people need to learn to adapt to hostility because the change they want to see probably won't happen until they're well off into their 50's or 60's.

And see its so hard to genuinely want to advocate for this group because you constantly see examples of people using the manipulative tactic of saying "there's no neutral" or "if you're not with us, you're against us". Like seriously fuck off, they should have learned that people aren't transphobic, they're just fed up with their stupid bullshit.
And what may not help when it comes to those using the manipulative tactic could also be them going "wew, I pissed off the CHUDS/gamers." Just reduce others to some strawman without understanding enough as to why people don't like to advocate aside from seeing the spam. Besides, I'm pretty sure there are better people to acknowledge a trans person than some guys livestreaming vidya.

So I watched the VOD of TS4 on Joel's channel. He decides to make a Jerma and Chat sim. And you can guess how that went.
Chat begging him to make male Chat and Jerma lovers (he flat out said no) and to give Chat sim "the GAY shirt! uwu" when he was only looking for a purple shirt that matches twitch. At least from that, I added 2 more emojis to block.

So once it's uploaded it's about what you expect from his TS4 uploads.

I can understand where Vinny's coming from, but he really doesn't need to buy all these new games and stuff on day 1. He's fine mostly doing what he wants with his streams. He doesn't need a PS5 on day 1 if he doesn't want it Day 1.

He's talking about this while streaming Astral Chain, for reference's sake.

I've had something of a Vinesauce fatigue for a while now but the possibility of Vinny quitting is still saddening, yet I can't blame him. It hurts seeing the poor guy like this.

I infrequently tune in from time to time and the cracks are really showing, especially the examples posted here.
MIght be my pessimism, but I got the feeling shit will hit the fan soon-ish.

The real twist will be if Joel caves and drops streaming before Vinny. It seems very unlikely to me, since Joel at least appears to get genuine enjoyment out of streaming still, but it's well within the realm of possibility.

But yeah, Vinny is definitely close to calling it. I'm sticking with my prediction that he will stop streaming altogether by 2021, although that doesn't say anything about his public presence. He might become a recluse and go into hiding, or maybe he'll keep his Twitter presence and participate in other people's content. Who knows?

If Vinny stops streaming altogether, he just disappears for good, calling that now. He's clearly sick of conventions and unless it's a stream with other mods in a casual call he does NOT gel well with other content creators at all at a sheer comfort level. He made a guest appearance on a Boundary Break episode for Mother 3 and boy was his segment painful to listen to. Very stilted and awkward.

Holy hell, you were not fucking kidding about the awkwardness. He sounds like a high schooler doing a group presentation that he absolutely did not participate in or prepare for. Vinny is normally so charismatic, but I can actually hear him retreating into himself reading those lines - and from his delivery, I can almost guarantee that everything he said was scripted. Plus, he just starts talking randomly a few minutes into the video, well after he's first introduced. Everything about this is so fucking odd.

Point fucking taken. I've never heard Vinny interact with non-Vinesauce streamers before, and now I really wish I hadn't. Good lord.

I mean, he's got some sort of a future bound in artistry. I can imagine him just ditching streaming 2 years down the line, give the reins to someone who can be bothered with catering to retards and paying streamers or whatever benefits they get, and just leave. "Yeah I had a bit of video game content creation going on when I was younger haha. That was a wack period in time! Anyway here's-" at some local club.

Limes and Brutal Moose both have that vibe of 'trans rights!' to their streams without actually engaging in it or even mentioning it. I'm quite convinced Brutal Moose is trans considering how he draws himself and his fursona or whatever (but dating a boy), and Limes just plays whatever. Hell, most of the time it's even super old games and she actually completes them and engages with chat. If people want an actual community, those are superb places to start.

Vinny is the vanilla gateway to people who actually have taste. You find him, go "oh that's a smaller community of indie gaming and humor, haha". Then you tire of him, look into the alternative streamers, and either find memery with Joel, comfy with Limes, or become a piece of shit like that other golddigging girl. :)

Brutal Moose? I knew he was gay but didn't figure him for trans, just effeminate (which, you know, is quite common with gays).

Shesez was on a SNES Online stream with Vinny a bit back and it was them hanging out and notalgia-ing about SNES games. I've enjoyed them when they've been on stream together, I just think that Vinny's at his best when chilling and reacting to what's happening on stream vs scripted stuff.

Rev is absolutely like this as well, but like Moose he focuses on have a chill, relaxing stream first. I've seen both of them shut down arguments in chat right quick when the chill lounge setting is under threat. I've even heard Jabroni_Mike and Rev talk about how ridiculous constantly politicized U.S. culture has become, and how people are just angry about it all the time, on MikeRevt.

For chill these days, I hit up Rev, Moose, or Vinny Minecraft streams. For humor/memes I usually hit up Jerma or Jabroni_Mike streams.

So, during this week's Spooky Saturday Joel was really excited to share real life UFO experiences but as soon as he pulled a news report about an incident he wanted to talk about, chat went ape shit insane because they saw a CNN logo. Joel didn't want any political talk so he found the video without any news anchor commentary but you could still hear how dissapointed he was cause people didn't give a fuck about what he wanted to talk about and instead screamed at the logo.
Oh, and at the beginning of the stream chat got frustrated with Joel because he couldn't figure out how to play the game and somebody wrote something like "this is hard to watch Joel is a stupid fucking dumbass" without any help to progress the game, Joel got really mad and (I think) he might have banned him, it was really weird because Joel usually brushes off shit like that, very rarely people get under his skin. I think that even if Joel uses self-deprecating jokes that doesn't mean that chat can treat him like he's their dancing monkey. I don't know what it is like with other streamers but it seems like the chat doesn't respect Joel very much.

Vinny suffers from such an extreme case of babyface, it's insane. Dude looks like he's in his early twenties. No wonder teen girls are all over him.

The guy in chat got banned for 24 hours and got real pissy on the discord about how he was "publicly shamed"

Bruh, no one would know it was you whining if you didn't cry type about it :story:

And why they saying dumpass instead of dumbass? they the type that thinks "dumb is a slur uwu"? <- disregard, its a meme Joel has.

And somewhat on the topic of that, ever notice in chat whenever Vinny or Joel swear there's a flood of D:'s? (And apparently, this is a meme... I'm getting too old for this lol)

With Vinny's case at least (never have been in a Joel stream) it's usually only when he reads a swear from in a game that doesn't usually use swear words, or when it's a softer version like heck or darn (A Hat In Time was particularly famous for this with "Peck!"). In other words a variation of "No swears on this Christian server" meme, don't think most are legit shocked by it.

This is proven further when you don't typically see that emote when Vinny curses up a storm after dying in a game or a similar fuck up, most post the LUL emote for those.
