Vinny is great at vocals but not so much voiceacting. Some of those projects are by fans who wanted a cameo of a guy they liked. Putting that in your reel is a bit lame.
 
feel free to rate me l8 but I haven't been able to watch the streams/vods much recently. in the recent bob ross/mario paint vod (uploaded on the 29., stream was on the 24.), joel said smth about "i know we talked about the art section thing" and at the end "we are doing booru streams again", does anyone know why/when he stopped showing art?
Is it just that he doesnt have time or did he want to avoid the booru because it is plagued by deltatroons?

He said he was often tired at the end of his streams, kept skipping the art section and in the end it all piled up and now he doesn't even want to do an actual art backlog stream (good) because there's too much of it. You can theorize all you want about how it's because there's too much parasocials of gender in there and whatnot, but that's just what he said himself.
 
I do not like Vinny's "old man" "impression" it's just cranking up on vocal fry and it sounds awful
 
I was in the mood to watch someone play The Long Dark. After digging through normies who only play the story mode and tryhards who know everything about the game and abuse it's mechanics, I found this VOD from last winter. Rev, who played the game years ago when it was still in Early Access, starts a Challenge (Challenges, unlike Survival mode, have goals and time limits).
Haven't watched Rev for a while, but how bad could it be? Surprisingly entertaining for the most part. Not unexpectedly, being a gamer with 25+ years of experience, he doesn't know that you can run by holding Left Shift because the game didn't tell him that. His character is constantly overencumbered and barely can walk because Rev doesn't give enough of a fuck to sort through his inventory and drop something so he spends most of the time carrying, among other junk, 2 mountaineering ropes (one of the heaviest items and almost useless). But hey, he seems to be enjoying the game, figuring out which way he needs to go by looking where the sun is, getting lost, surviving wolf attacks and running away from a bear. Fun enough to have on my second monitor. Wait, why is he talking about HRT? (4:12:56 in the VOD)

Ah, of course, because this fella showed up in chat, exposed his fetish, got some asspats from other perverts and their allies (including Rev), and fucked off because of course he did. All of them watch Rev, Vinny, Mike and Jerma only because they know that in those chats they won't get bullied for being freaks. "Streamer! I'm a she/her because I take pills and wear pink stockings! I haven't watched a single thing he's done since about a decade ago when he was last entertaining with the Yandere Sim let's play, but even then he was generally a third-rate streamer. I don't know what the fuck happened to make him read-along all of Homestuck (plus sidestories) on-stream for some ungodly reason, and I don't think I really want to find out, but it does explain the prevalence of trannies around him.
The only playthrough of The Long Dark I could recommend is so old it predates the terrible story mode entirely, so I won't. The Long Dark seems like it would be a good roleplaying game, but it's so shallow and its survival aspects so abstracted and gamey that it very easily boils down to nothing but coffee microdosing tryhards.

It's fine if it's for one line as shitgoblin #3 but I get the impression some cliques of certain types of people are trying to drag vinny in to be their spokesperson
