EDIT: Mike's health decline (particularly his back pains) has made playing drums harmful to his health.

That might explain why Vinny sounded suspiciously a bit low energy a couple days ago.
He mentioned the band practice stuff's been "challenging". Hope he and the bandmates, especially Mike, hang in there.

(I specifically remember this being a thing they spoke about for Realign, not sure about more recent releases!)

That's not unusual for bands. Ex Jimi Hendrix despite having access to a band played every instrument in his version of all along the watchtower.

Joel is getting destroyed mentally and physically by Satan's Toe while trying to play Gore Mario 64. I'm currently saving the audio of this bit because the majority of the background music is not DMCA-free.
Context: The Toe of Satan is a novelty candy product with a Scoville heat unit rating of 9 million, much higher than regular pepper spray. Even military veterans who have developed resistance to pepper spray cannot handle its intensity.

Here's the audio from last night. I split them into parts because the segment lasted almost an hour and had occasional dead air. I wonder how his type 1 diabetes ass survived this, let alone wants to challenge Mike to this despite him having GERDs.
