Frankly, I'm surprised anyone is even using that old Twitter account, especially since even Vin started using personal accounts to announce streams.

Vinesauce as a "team" hasn't existed for years now. Website is just a landing page. They rarely engage with each other outside of the occasional "& friends" streams that *sometimes* has Joel or Limes on them. Last time Vin streamed with Rev was ~3 years ago for Mario Party Superstars, I think? Risa was probably the Sonic 3 stream like 7 years ago?
The Vinesauce is Hope charity was like the last thing that held it together all together, but since that's no longer happening... eh, who knows.

Limes is arguably more successful than she's ever been, though. Risa is doing her own thing. Unsure of how successful her VTuber shift was. Direboar/Potato/Fred exist, I guess? Think Hootey's retired from streaming in general outside of a charity thing here and there. MentalJen went AWOL ages ago. Know she wasn't feeling well, unsure if even alive.

The glory days of watching Vinesauce streams instead of paying attention in high school sure has passed. Been a long time since I truly sat down to *watch* a Vinesauce stream, not just have it on as background noise while working, now when I'm thinking about it.
 
blogpost but Jen helped me out through a really rough time in my life so I was always super sad when one day she just vanished off the internet and I don't mean in like the "le streamer saved my life" way but in like the actual help way, always will be super grateful to her.

a community art booru for all of the vinesauce team
Vinny used to showcase art from it at the end of every stream (they can be still found on the archive channel i think), he stopped doing after the "incident"
its still active and im sure he still looks at it, just no showcasing of any kind

Which incident is that?
 
Important context to add as to WHY the booru was dropped after that, art hoes were CONSTANTLY spamming the booru with art of Vinny (multiple pieces per stream) to get his attention, the Vinesauce art circle were some pretty clingy orbiters. So he removed what made them feel so important and their avenue for attention after previously mentioned shit went down.

Just letting you know as I've talked to her in recent years, she's doing good. She was just stressed out from all the pressure of things and how it was bad for her health in general.

She now just does her own thing privately out of the limelight with friends.
 
I remember however many years ago it was that I watched a few videos featuring Jen and decided to follow her twitch. She had just streamed a few days before, so I was just waiting for her next one to catch her live.

She never streamed again.
 

I've been watching Vinny and Joel for about a decade but whenever Vinny plays with other people I can barely stand it. People like Limes are exceptionally annoying and unfunny.
 
Now that the year is almost over, please recommend me some good 2024 Vinny streams. I stopped watching a long while ago and every time I try to catch up the streams are just unfunny/low energy/depressing, seems like a consistent thing since the accusations. And I'm still baffled that nowadays I find Joel to be the better streamer (and that it seems to be a popular or at least an uncontroversial opinion)

Sunday streams are generally the only ones worth watching if you don't have much time.

i found his stream of hard time 3 to be pretty entertaining, even if joel ended up doing it better.
choicer voicer is worth watching if you like hearing vinny do impressions of autistic memes that he's being exposed to for the first time.

the real highlights of the year i think are the party streams he's done. i know people here shit on the & friends streams, i too hate the v-tubers with a fiery passion, but joey's castle with vinny, joel, simple and mike are a blast to watch for me. ditto for the mario party jamboree stream with the same group. it's great when vinny's forced to be entertaining in new ways rather than defaulting to his usual skibidi/watto bullshit.
 
I like his Mario and Zelda game playthroughs as background noise, I think bing bing wahoo is one of the few places Vinny is in his element and tolerable these days.
