Reminds me of how he recently revealed he had no idea "pantsu" meant panties, and thought it meant pants. Or when he read the "goyblock" name out loud. Or when someone got him to try 1488 as a code in a keypad. People here give him way too much credit sometimes.

Archiving Vinny's comments in case he or Johnny disables comments. I can't believe it's Vinny typing all these comments, especially in sequence. Like sure he puts down a chat member here and there, but I've never seen him do shit like this, not even Mike would get on youtube frogs like this.

Wonder if he'll ever give Death Stranding another go or if it's permanently on his shitlist. It would be funny if he streamed DS2 when it comes out and has no idea what's going on in the story.

Unfortunately, my man Kojimbro helps him out.

I don't think he will play it. He dropped the first one so fast. That was also some stupid shit, instead of saying it sucks (for him), he claimed he understood what Kojima was going for and it's not his thing, but never talked about what "it" is.

Not to dick ride Vinny, but nothing about his responses here seems unreasonable to me? He doesn't seem overly upset or attacking anyone.

He was certainly way more dramatic over Death Stranding.
 
Just jumped back into watching Vinny after a long break. Wanted to watch his playthrough of Mouthwashing since I've been seeing that bandaged dude everywhere. Even though he loves to talk about how he was an "English Major", his reading comprehension and media literacy are at an all-time low. What also cracks me up is people swearing up and now that now he doesn't look like the main character who turns out to be a terrible guy. Why is it such a bad thing that he looks like the video game character? He's not real.

(Side note: The character's dialogue sounds a lot like how Vinny speaks. More salt on the wound.)

They're parasocial streamer fans, fiction= reality in their minds and if Vinny looks like Jimmy that means associating him with a psycho rapist who horribly disfigured a guy in a fit of narc rage, which is the same as saying he is like that.

Haha holy shit. Vinny is like Jerma if he was piss afraid of engaging with his fans, and now he's doing it but way over the top. This is absolutely sad. Bro is so scared of his community that he's only going at them in a forum-like space like comments?

Did he actually bother engaging with his "Vinesauce team" yet? I swear I've never seen any of them collaborate let alone talk to Vinny in a friendly manner.

The thing is, he is right about being scared of them. He already got lucky once before, and he sure as fuck doesn't want to lose everything after what 13 years of money just appearing out of nowhere?
In regards to collabs, mostly with Limes, but recently he and Joel were seen together. Rev is avoided, and rightly so, and I don't even know what Fred, Hooty, and others are doing these days.

Wasn't the whole "team" aspect disbanded after the collapse of the website? Or are you just referring to mods/editors. I might be retarded

To me it's more to do with his reaction to all this, especially with his last 2 comments.
It all reads like "Look, I had a bad night. Sorry. I gave what you wanted a chance and even said good things about it, so there's no need for this attitude. Are you going to keep giving me an attitude?" And all because someone said "Maybe you should've read it (loading text lore) clearer." when he flubbed it, then started projecting his stigma with Undertale, likely calling back to when he accidentally killed an NPC near the start of the stream, which gave him the impression the game's influenced by Undertale.

⋖ cørdion ⋗ makes a good point about him being scared of his fans. A few days prior in a pre-record, he felt the need to apologize for saying the wrong game engine after several comments were politely correcting him.

This isn't to say he hasn't corrected himself before, mainly on stream, but feeling obligated to in the comments too? Now?

All other times were a majority of him defending his biases/opinions/gamer skills being challenged or replying to bait. This whole situation to me is him damage controlling because he made a stink about a game with a rabid, emotionally-charged fanbase of autists while also that he knows a subset of _his_ fans are emotionally-charged autists who troll him about it, while worrying he'll lose subs over petty shit like this and needs to calm them down, because again: Modern Vinny's all about pandering for money.

It's not so dissimilar to the Vivian situation a few months ago where he felt like he had to comment on it, when all other times he's staunchly avoided political topics and -- realistically -- wouldn't have impacted him drastically had he not answered 'The Jewish Question: Trans Edition'.

I know I'm treading old ground with all this and have autistically beaten it like a dead horse, but he has admitted to losing 50% - 60% of his subs during the allegations. While he claims to be fine with that and "doesn't need the subs" (I call bullshit), the merch thing made him decide that he needed to shift gears to suddenly chase the algorithm trend, maximizing profits to build his savings back up in case something goes tits up.

All this is to say that he has a very real concern of making mistakes -- no matter the severity -- that'll cost him money and is walking on egg shells with the trannies to keep himself financially stable. I get why he's doing all this, it's understandable. I just don't respect the way he's going about it and is partly why I've been slowly losing interest in his streams. They're nothing but a live daycare now.
 
I find it fucking funny that Vinny will sperg at the idea of a game being "Undertale-esque," but you got Joel, who played both Undertale and Deltarune without any issues. How? Joel has the ability to have selective reading, doesn't give his foreign political commentary, and doesn't fuck his fans. No matter how ADHD and Voice of the Slop-ridden modern Loel is, he is more mature than his American counterpart.
