Just to give some context to my previous post, my feed has been infested with vinny fan compilations that are 1:1 to jerma fan compilations, which is odd because I avoid anything related to the latter like the plague. I got the impression that these started popping up around the same time jerma "retired".

Here's just two examples of what I'm talking about. Take a look at this shit and tell me they're not trying to force that sus meme on vinny.

They make no secret of it at times. Vinny even called it out once.
Now that you mention the fan overlap stuff, I'm curious to know what the age demographic of his audience is these days, because the way I see it is roughly 70/30 of newfags and kids outnumbering the oldguard.
When you take into account the fan overlap and Jerma's stats, it wouldn't be so dissimilar to what Vinny's has become now, being that most oldfags have moved on while newfags take over. (Same shit's happened to Game Grumps funnily enough.)

Couple that with his algo chasing's reaching more newfags by the day, on top of the types of wholesome/family friendly games he occasionally plays along with his whacky streamer persona and bits which underage/autistis gravitate towards, and collabs with certain e-celebs inviting even more cancer into his circle. However, he seems to think his anecdotes mirrors reality more closely, likely as a cope. He's not as stupid and naive as he lets on about most things, he just isn't clever about it, especially with his power level which the majority of the newfags aren't able to pick up on.

Be ready for another giant break as he takes another multi-week long trip to America, then takes a month off to edit the video footage together into a 15 minute long meme video. I love Joey too but I'm very cynical of the Joey Cycle now. I just wish he'd stay consistent. I used to sub to him but I can't justify it anymore due to how infrequently I catch him live.

How in can you guys tolerate Joel's voice? If it were just a regular Swedish accent, it would be annoying enough, but for no reason at all, he adds an "uh" sound to the end of most sentences, like "today I'll be playing the Goose Game-uh" and it grinds my fucking gears.

Joel is one of those streamers you have to be very patient with because he's not as bright as he makes himself out to be, but at the same time he's also sorta self-aware that he's a dumb-dumb, including his Obama-style "uh"s.

Riffing on Joel is like riffing on that special-ed kid that wears a helmet and rides the short bus to school. VERY easy to do, but you'd just look/feel bad doing it because it's like picking on the most lowest of hanging fruits.

You watch Joel for the jokes and silly moments, not for serious gameplay.

i think you might be looking too much into this one. it seems more like a joke about a happy fun little kiddy game implementing a team deathmatch mode into a game where it would not fit. why would vinny randomly mention this very very niche fetish that has as far as i've seen never been relevant to anything he's ever talked about, and why wouldn't he say implementing the TDM instead of team deathmatch?

Honestly I don't even notice it. Uhh. He's a bit slow, I don't mind. I enjoy nordic accents, they're funny. Uhh. Personally I can't stand listening to Rev these days, except I can't tell what exactly it is that pisses me off about the way he speaks. All the yalls? I don't know. But he's annoying in general. Post-vtuberification Limes too, but that's more obvious. Shame because she used to be a rare case of a squeaker who's pleasant to listen to.
