there's no grand conspiracy, it's just streamers trying to appeal to the most vocal part of their audience. that part is always made up of trannies and similar degenerates because they're the only ones who have the free time to tune in to all their streams

He could just be getting old. Living comfortably off internet tip money is fine when you’re in your 20’s but if you want to buy property, retire, AND pay for more studio time for your band then you have to start taking your main source of income seriously. We all gotta sell out sometime.

Now I don’t 100% agree with the selling out thing, I think your right with this statement because I still think for at least this gen of YouTubers it’s always been a “fluff job” and I’d imagine that he’s probably “god I’m like 30 soon I’ll be 40 and still putting out videos” which is kind of considered a kids thing still.
 
Speaking of Vinny and money; for someone who will say he does not want his viewers' cash, I think it is quite hypocritical of him to have emotes exclusive to tier 2 subscriptions and donating bits. Hell, he even has custom loyalty badges for both tier 2 and tier 3 subscriptions. A minor thing but still an incentive in a way for his more dedicated fans to spend their money on him.

At least Joey has not bothered with that kind of thing.

God, he better not be evolving into Shesez-tier levels of e-begging for viewership. I haven't seen much of Vinny's streams or YouTube videos in recent months, but I hope that I don't click on a main channel video and it starts with "Hey chat, so my viewer numbers are going down... here's how you can help!" anytime soon.

I know this stance is hypocritical from what I said a few months back on him being a sell out, but if this thread is accurate about his band's circumstances with the merchandise being paid from his own pocket until he finds a new distributor, I'm more understanding of why he would need to push for traction more than usual if it's burning through his rainy-day savings or something. Or maybe he might get hit harder than usual in taxes this year since Twitch streamers are seen as self-employed. What do I know though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Surprised to see Vinny playing Rimworld season 3 already. Minus the sudden METOO event that happened last time it made for entertaining background noise. Hopefully he learned from season 2 and doesn't dig into the caves for half his base again.

I have hung out on the chans, Encyclopedia Dramatic, and lurked on Kiwifarms, and KF was easily the most vile. It's not even close. People there are fucking unhinged; you don't make that accusation lightly. They don't like Vinny and Joel. If Vinny and Joel did advertise on 4chan, I don't really see how that's a problem. Not everyone who posts on 4chan is a lunatic or a troll; most of them just don't want to be micromanaged by jannies. Don't go putting Kiwifarms on the same level; Kiwifarms is to the Chans what the Chans are to, say, Reddit.

I have seen Vinny mentioned a few times on KF outside of this thread and by non-thread regulars and it never seemed as if it was in a negative light.

I do wonder if this person has ever actually visited KF.

It isn't hard to find, so I'm sure they happened upon this thread. I'm sure you all remember the absolute flood of retards riding or biting Vinny's cock after some whore accused him of some thing I can't remember. They probably came in here and were shocked that, unlike the infinite positive circlejerk of every fandom subreddit, people didn't have qualms criticising the streamers. From there they probably assumed that this was another evil cyberstalker thread where we plan darkweb gayops to kill Vinny and his heckin wholesome furry orbiters.

In reality, of course, people like to bitch about stuff they like because they want it to be better.
