Vinny could handle getting banned from Twitch, and he could somewhat easily go to streaming on Youtube, which doesn't hand out as many permas for the slightest sign of dissent. It's still not ideal, and the sheer rabid insanity of some of his fans would end up as a disaster anyway in the best scenario. Vinny doesn't want to get into high-profile drama, so he will go to great lengths to avoid this.

Troons are right about singular they being a thing, even if it can be somewhat clunky. Vinny is just trying to be apolitical in this extremely politicized environment, which requires him to modify his language to avoid stepping on any politisperg toes.

I was willing to give it the benefit of doubt because I hadn't previously seen a VRChat video from him, but this was not it unless the awkward silence was the entertainment. Half of the video was just loading into new worlds and standing around until everyone was in the world to do something. There was one woman in the video that had the most grating and fried voice I've heard in a while (wasn't Lime). Maybe the Grey Leno shows are good but I don't know about this one...

Because it is a something created by Vinny and is therefore automatically funny. I will admit that I do find these "& Friends" streams to almost always be an epistemic bubble of "wow, Vinny is so cool and great and so funny haha" which I am assuming is part of the reason as to why other people in this thread do not like these kinds of streams.

At first I thought you were streching with that, since he's been pedantic before when referring to characters as "the character" when talking about any media, when the actor's sex and role is clearly established, but he is actually doing this for some odd reason and in this case, a manikin of all things.
Maybe it's a new defense mechanism to protect himself on the rare occasion he does get a character's sex/gender/whatever wrong so chat doesn't have to politely (albeit autistically) correct him (which he misses or ignored the majority of the time anyway) or the off chance it does upset that one hypothetical guy, but he really doesn't need to be so modest over this stuff because honestly, and in regards to him in general, no one's going to flip their fuckin' lid over him misgendering, especially something as basic as a blank standee of the player.
 
anybody has more "underground lost banned whatever" vinny vids? I want to binge-watch his older deleted stuff because I just couldn't bring myself to watch any of his recent stuff. it's just too cancerous for me to enjoy.

I mean, it's trannies, yes they absolutely will. I play one of the stupid Final Fantasy mobile games and there are absolutely people on this Discords who will lose their shit if you call Cloud of Darkness a "she". Despite, well, her having her tits out.

Now, this is not to say that it would be worth caring about when they did pitch a fit. We all know it wouldn't. But they definitely would cry and whinge.
