Joel when it comes to technology is fucking weird. In the Windows Destruction videos he seems to know what he's doing, and yet there are times where he needs to rely on that one techie mod in his streams for even simple shit.

On more than one occasion he claimed that both ClamWin and Youtube-dl were sketchy as fuck because the former sounded retarded to him while the latter had a terminal icon, which apparently = virus. And when the chat was screaming at him that they were both legit, he STILL had his suspicions.

Either he's stuck in that boomer mentality (almost like his dad, if his stories are anything to go off of), or he's just scared shit of trying anything new.

He also refuses to take 2 minutes to install the newest Pokemon Fusion update despite chat telling him it's compatible with his save and, surprise surprise, he can just backup the older version to be sure. It's not even a "I don't want to derail the stream," situation because Joel loves derailing the stream any chance he gets. It's not just Pokemon Fusion either, he's always using old versions of programs. I remember the last time he was emulating a game he was using an ancient version of Retroarch. I think it's some sort of weird autism thing.

This is the same Forest of Ire from way earlier in the thread. Lost my account like a dumbass. Had to come back because I got curious and did a reverse search on this image, and it's probably not Joel's dad. It comes up on some Awkward Family Photo sites, so he likely grabbed that as a joke. As for the surname. Johansson is a real Swedish last name. It's common as hell but it's real, and I don't think Jarvisson is a real Swedish last name, or if it is, it's really uncommon. Who knows though.

I jest (please God don't let it happen), I'd like to hope Vin's history of mocking them and dropping slurs regularly back in the early Chatango days is indicative of his position. Plus the fact that he has no trouble getting young unstable women to date him and would know he'd lose that if he bit the pink bullet.
Plus, by all appearances, he's doing far too well in his personal life to have the necessary mental breakdown for it.
