I'm enjoying Vinny losing the will to play FF16, it's too bad he's too autistic to admit he was stupid to buy a PS5 for it. It'd be more fun if he allowed himself to have honest feelings about it instead of just seething, though that's fun in its own way.

I haven't watched any because I have no interest in FF16. Is he pretending its good because final fantasy instead of actually having an opinion?
 
I used to love both vinny and joel but now I can hardly stand them, especially whenever mods/chat are involved.
Joel however seems the best, a last holdout. A good christian boy perhaps.
Vinny I should have seen coming given the fact for all recorded history he could rarely go more than 30 mins without going into r/atheism mode for a moment.

Checked out the streams of the other people in it, to see it from their angle, and watch their building process. Mostly pretty good and fun stuff.
In the case of Ludwig, maybe I'm retarded, but I legit can't tell if he was actually seething to his chat about Joel's presentation, or if it was a bit that he does.

Shit came across as genuine passive-aggressive whining, but again, maybe it's a bit.

Can't speak for the other guy, but to me, it's more so with the times that he has streamed it, his commentary's been pretty hands-off/bland, more so than the usual "shootin' the shit" type stuff.

With what he has said about the game 10 hours in:
- Likes the combat
- Thinks it's weird having such a small party for an FF game
- Admits his brain is sometimes "rejecting" info because of the dense story, says that's common until something "clicks" where he starts paying attention again

On a side note, this is fucking gold.

He's pretending it's good because he has buyers remorse and doesnt want to admit the people in chat who said he probably wouldnt like it are right. Pretty much just contrarianism at this point
 
FF16 is basically the anti-Death Stranding stream. There's a chance Vinny could've actually liked Death Stranding if he gave it a chance instead of going into it with the mindset he'd hate it and just made fun of it for 2 streams without even trying to engage with it. FF16 on the other hand Vinny thought he would love or at least like it but he's having no fun with it but continues to play it to justify buying a PS5 and he won't stop playing because he doesn't want to give chat the satisfaction of saying, "I told you so."
 
How much is a PS5? $500? Game was given to him too. I doubt he has that much of buyer's remorse, even if he just stops playing. That's not much money for somebody like him. He'll recoup it with VOD traffic if he hasn't already.

Yeah you see that a lot sometimes among people who don't really come from generational wealth. If Vinny does come from an old, rich family, then it's unusual indeed, but still not unheard of.

I really wanted to see him actually try Death Stranding, it seems like something that he would actually enjoy, with the indie music and Kojimbo storyline. He could probably shoot the shit with chat pretty well in it. The people who hate on Death stranding have most of the time never played it and just hate it because its the cool thing to do and because Kojima's ego is so large, but if people actually played it they might find it to be one of their new favorite games. Even Dunkey gave it a second chance after doing the same thing as Vinny and found he actually enjoyed the game.

A Millionaire? I don't know. One thing I can say for sure though from what's been gleaned here and from the streams themselves is he's very 'comfortable'. For a person to be 'comfortable' in a place with a cost of living as high as New York City, he's doing quite well.
