Vinny bought (literally) into the hype and got a $500 paperweight just to play Final Fantasy 16. The stream was nothing short of simultaneous buyer's remorse and justification cope, console war faggotry in chat with some participation on his end (whether he'd like to think otherwise) and him autistically wrestling with his usual "To stream or not to stream" the rest of the game. Can't say the whole thing wasn't enjoyable from a cynic's perspective, but he couldn't have picked a worse time to play this game, considering the annoying climate surrounding it. He's gonna' have a great time dealing all that fanboyism if he decides to continue.

Regardless, if he does end up playing through the rest of it, I'm curious to see his reactions and hear his thoughts on the later half of the game because it hilariously goes full Shounen/Mecha/DBZ-tier further into the story. Guess you could say he got persuaded into watching another anime. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Got my ps5 just for hogwarts legacy and picked up FF16 when it released. Quit the game and deleted it during the middle of the first cutscene. I was bored to tears.

One step closer to him playing Xenogears, probably wont happen after the Xenoblade fans harassed him into playing Xenoblade though. He would probably like Gears because it was worked on by a bunch of the same team as Chrono Trigger, but alas, he is a normie.

even if you don't believe in anything, atheists make it their goal to be the most annoying group of people. Up there with those christian girls that make it their life goal to go to africa just to spread a the good word when the people around them can't even speak english.

A lot of my friends (me included) take the stance of "don't know, don't care" with religion. Could there be something out there? Yeah. Do I care. Eh. I also had a cringe fully atheist phase when I was younger.
