I've been trying to find the reason for why Joel stays so consistently good while other similar streamers have fallen off (ex: Jerma and Vinny), and I have distilled it down to a few reasons as to why Joel is the GOAT:

1: He is humble; he lives in a small town in an apartment because he feels it is a waste of money to get a big house and would rather save it for the future.

2: He does not look at the news because it is "mostly negative" and only reads the local newspaper, which tends to be more positive; thus, his "apolitical" stance does not come off as fake like others who say they are "apolitical," and he manages to neither be too white nor blackpilled.

3: He is multicultural with his humor and memes and often puts his own spin on them, diverging from the usual formulas of the jokes and memes that have been beaten down or given a political bearing. He has also stated that he likes to use old, outdated memes because he finds them funnier, to which chat called him a "meme hipster." Because he uses a lot of multinational jokes or memes, he has also built up a (truly) diverse audience, I also believe these members are responsible for the lower amount of troons, because most other countries do not care about the gender stuff or are against it entirely.

4. He is not bound by a schedule and takes breaks whenever he feels like it; therefore, nothing ever feels stale or "by the numbers."

5: He still edits his own YouTube videos. I believe this is part of the reason he is good at timing jokes live.

6: The Fecalfunny Shield: This is maybe the most important aspect besides the diverse audience; his humor can be seen as abrasive to outsiders (much like death metal) and can be hard to get into (much like death metal), but the community is actually comfortable when you look past the loudness and appreciate the technical aspect (much like death metal). This shield keeps most of the parascocials out, further strengthened by the lack of personal information on the streamer.

There are probably other reasons, but I think these are the main ones that have kept him both consistently entertaining and helped keep his audience tolerable. I'm only writing this because the thread is dead, and I'm curious what others think about my hypothesis.

To be honest, I only ever watched/watch Joel out of the whole Vinesauce crew. I only saw some snippets of Vinny's stream and I have zero idea about the rest of them. I don't know why that is honestly. But it's definitely true that Joel's streams are still very enjoyable, even if the jokes aren't the same due to the changing societal climate, hence editing Hitler jokes out of old videos and such.

Perhaps the fact that he doesn't really read donations nor subs helps, too. Because that way he doesn't have to read some tranny's sappy message. And there were some before. Neither does he have to read retarded names. Trannies love to put streamers in a pickle by having their names be "trans_rights", which would make them have to read it out loud. One streamer I watch has an all time most watched clip by doing exactly that... and the caption being "[Streamer] says trans rights!"

But I guess Vinny doesn't do that either.

Do you mind sharing?
It's CallMeKevin.
Now I can't find that clip. I think it got deleted, but I definitely remember him just reading a list of sub names and one was that.
Anyway, instead I found 3 different ones where he says so because, as expected, sappy trannies want him to, in donations. And I guess he's not so deep in it so he thinks trannies aren't doing anything wrong by, y'know, deliberately forcing him to say a political motto... MULTIPLE TIMES WHILE CLIPPING IT EACH TIME...

I'm so glad Joel and Vin don't do that shit. Trannies already try whenever there's an input text in a game.

That's another reason why I stopped watching from RTGame as well. It was during, I think, TLOZ Wind Waker's stream, he would read all of the messages from those people and then go on with some mushy "you go gurl" message which really felt out of place.

I'm pretty sure that they both kept their head on their shoulders considering that they both have been online for a very, very long time and sometimes both give hints that they saw these trends come and go.

I feel bad for that guy. A few weeks ago, the trannies made him write a long apology for playing Hogwarts Legacy.
Jesus fucking christ, I had no idea that happened, cuz I don't hang out in Peddit.
I suppose now his own words "It doesn't hurt anyone to just be supportive." are coming back to him.
Trannies are only nice to you if you follow the narrative. Everyone eventually sees their true colors.

All this talk about trannies made me remember this clip:

I hope HOOT WIRELESS dies out quickly. Never seen a "meme" this forced other than the Diaper Chief bit.
On a more :optimistic: note: Vinny, GreatZot, Hootey and Gearomatic did a charity stream for the 'Murrican Heart Association and raised 15x their initial goal of 1k, doubling last year's 7k raised.
