Unlike Vinny (though Jerma's getting worse for it) Criken also went SJW, specifically the type that lets that bleed over into his content. It's not frequent, but it's there, on top of him just generally becoming shittier. Last stream of his I checked out had him interrupt his Oblivion gameplay to literally apologize about how "dated" some dialogue was involving a man insulting his wife. Maybe it's not a new thing, but until this year the only stuff I'd ever watched of his were his L4D videos from a decade ago.
Plus and semi-unrelated, ever since I found out about KingCobra, I can't stop thinking Criken's his long lost brother or alter ego.

The only thing from Criken i've ever seen were his L4D and L4D2 videos from 10 years ago, so I don't know anything else about him, but I do know he's done a collab with vinny once or twice.

It was a REALLY sleepy stream, but it went on for like 12 hours so that makes sense, decent looking charity too.

Anyway, what's the consensus on Marco? I don't really know how he mods, but his streams are pretty decent companions to the Joel streams they come after.

I was only aware of Criken through his streams with InfernoPlus(who is a Sargon subscriber) so this is pretty surprising.

Twitch chat is the equivilant of YouTube comments. They just naturally attract shit, so it's best to just avoid it all together, including streamers (they SHOULD, but they won't).

It's pretty annoying when every hardcore friday, joel reads the same troll comments going "just use save states, lol" and joel like clockwork repeats his "ah, welcome to hardcore friday i see this is your first one" line. That HAS to get annoying at some point.

This shit on top of the weird stream behavior is why I just don't watch Vinny anymore. Also why I haven't checked into this thread lately. It's just frustrating and annoying that a nearly 40 year old man is doing this shit. He's also gotten worse at games and just gotten more annoying in general.

I know this comes off as egotistical or some 14 year old commenting on 40's music and how much better it is than modern music type shit; but I've just outgrown him, alongside a lot of people of his ilk.

I find it very funny that Vinny's reasoning for not watching more anime is that he doesn't have enough time but he managed to binge watch all of Breaking Bad and most of Better Call Saul within a month. I think growing up in the 90's when anime was still considered lame as fuck permanently formed the way Vinny perceives the medium and even though he knows not all anime is bad or highschool romcoms or whatever he can't get over years of being programmed into hating anime. Someone mentioned several pages ago the area Vinny grew up in at the time thought anime was lame.
Several streams ago he admitted to what he claims is "culture shock" that plays a bit into anime feeling alienating to him and why he's apprehensive checking out other shows (exaggerated expressions, "Highschoolers using their emotions to save the day").
He's heavily biased to say the least.

I can't imagine what he's seen/heard -- other than DBZ, Jojo memes, Kingdom Hearts, Gal Gun, whatever Shounen he's basing his views off of -- that'd make him think it's nothing but that. There's plenty of relaxed, adult and thought provoking animes from various genres that cater to his tastes, but I can't blame him considering what games his fanbase recommends he needs to BLEEZE BLAY. Outside his friends, he's stuck between a rock and hard place when it comes to anime recs.

He once read aloud a donation message from a young troon saying they were (x amount of months) into their transition. He politely, while awkwardly said "Oh, that's good to hear... Hope everything all works out well for you..." 🤦‍♀️

Vinnys always done this by looking at peoples chats history in chat when they've been say spamming some shit and he has numerous times called them out for that, I don't see this as any thing different. At worse you could say hes giving dumbasses the attention they want but hes also publicly just shaming/shitting on them.
