Nearly ended at the hands of one too, thanks to GPM amplifying the impropriety allegation last year. He slinked away into obscurity after that, thank goodness. Hell, it's crazy when you go look back at the Super Mario Galaxy Repainted highlight video and see the community being none too subtle about GPM's backstabbing.

Anyway, as for old streams and highlights from the Vinesauce heyday getting disappeared off the web, I get it- Those were the days where you could get away with tastless and un-PC jokes because Vinny's early popularity was so easily sourced back to 4chan's /v/. And guys like Joel would prefer to not walk on eggshells in current year. But it's still a bummer to witness. I'm glad at least Kiwis here are archiving what they can while it's still around. Personal suggestion for archiving: Vinny's stream and highlight videos of Crack Life. That was one of my earliest introductions to Vinesauce and a cherished laugh every time I hear squarks quoting R. Lee Ermey.

Was watching the joel Zanerocks game stream, and people kept getting mad about the crazy frog stuff. Specifically a lot of them said "Don't trust corporations, they are not your friend." or something similar. I just can't help but be unable to correlate crazy frog grifters trying to shill nfts to "corporations" bwl.
 
very surprising to see joel go out of his way to have old streams of his wiped from youtube. i always pictured him having the same mindset as vinny, believing that the older streams contain very dated humor/references and can be very embarrassing at times, but that at the end of the day, you can't change the fact that it's been uploaded to the internet and is here to stay.
i guess after all the allegations vinny had to go through joel sees the things he's said and joked about as a potential target on his back, though it's a bit of an unfortunate spot to put yourself in considering the most all-time popular stream of his is (arguably) the first windows XP destruction, which from what i can remember wasn't exactly "safe" for today's standards either. you can't just wipe a legendary stream like that off the face of the earth without a lot of people taking notice.

atleast vinny seems to have loosened up a lot after the sex allegations. i was caught a little off guard by the jokes about war crimes being committed in ukraine and duke nukem sexually harassing lara croft that were being spouted in last night's stream. absolutely disgusting language.

Vinny and Joel have always just steadily grown through the years with the success of their channels on youtube and twitch, thus resulting in more people showing up, including soft skinned faggots.

Vinny and Joel have never actively promoted or pushed gay internet bullshit outside of acknowledging world events and saying gay people exist. They're not like say Jerma or Mike who do cartwheels to please trannies.

self censoring. if they kept doing things the way they did this part of their audience would probably throw hissy fits because vinny said a no no word but in the long run they would fuck off to somewhere else. instead he chose to pander to a loud minority.
