The dramatic irony in vintage VODs probably being taken down "cause Kiwi Farms found them", when KF degenerates are going to be way more understanding and cool with the content within than the self-proclaimed Vinesauce fans.

Really curious what Joel said to this guy to make him take the VODs down. It would've been one thing if he just hit the channel with a copyright strike, but frankly I don't think anyone in Vinesauce would stoop to that level. I definitely think it's got something to do with either the level of quality or the things they used to say in those old streams that are now super embarrassing in hindsight. We can blame this on "cancel culture" all we want, but I think most people are able to understand that someone who's been making content for 10+ years is going to fuck up here and there, and the younger Vinesauce audience is so obsessed that they would excuse away any bad behavior regardless of what it was.

I think the truth of that matter is that Joel (and also Vinny) are just too scared of any potential consequences to risk it. They're both quite avoidant when it comes to conflict, and it sure is easier to just never upload any pre-2014 VODs than to sift through each one and edit them down for content. Sad, but effective.

I think this is the reason. Probably nothing like "take that down or I'll sue you," probably something more like "hey, I'm not proud of the jokes I made, would it be okay if you took that down?" Maybe I just can't imagine Uncle Joey trying to threaten somebody, I dunno.

yt-dlp with aria2c worked great for me if you needed any info on downloading videos
 
Well glad I caught that comment by Joel or who ever runs the VOD channel because the channel has been nuked RIP. Thank you lads trying to now archive everything. My ass has no space on my computer to store VODS
I get why you dont want videos of your old edgy self out there now and days but come on man. Just let us have our old edgy internet vinesauce. All you have to do is denounce how you acted back than to the new zoomer/twitter fans than ignore the schizo that still care
