Vinny's video was super coincidental for me because I bought Rogue Legacy when it was in like super alpha or whatever, because they basically tricked you into thinking it had content (it didn't) and now after like what, 2 years it's in a playable state. But that's more just early access games in general, it was my fault for buying a game that I knew was EA (I no longer get any EA games, even if i'm hyped for them).

But anyways, I saw the 1.0 update and was like "Wait I own this game?" and decided to try it, it's okay. It's got the same mechanic as the first game where you have descendants, and they get random special perks or debuffs, it's a neat concept. The game is fine, but the writing and humor is GOD AWFUL, we are talking 2012 humor, it's bad: Farts, Random xD, the whole shebang.
To be fair, I haven't played much, but I doubt it gets any better. So if you do get the game, just skip past all of the dialogue.

Now let me send this off with some advice: Don't ever get early access games, even if they seem good. Here's some reasons why:

1. Unfinished: When you get an EA game, it's quite possible the devs just fucking leave, and the game stays unfinished.

2. Patches: You find a cool strategy? It's patched out. There is a cool unintended mechanic? It's patched out. Many times there will be patches in a game (due to it's EA nature) that leave you annoyed. If you bought it afterwards, you wouldn't care, because you never played the game in it's previous state, so even if it's in an inferior state, you wouldn't know, besides some complaining here and there from other people.

3. Content: An EA game will be lacking content, this is obvious of course. But this is not the big deal, the problem is when you play the game, maybe you even "finish it" and they add more content. The problem is that this content is not enough to get you back into playing the game, because most of the time it augments things you have already experienced. You will get a strictly inferior gameplay experience due to all of the little quality of life changes and additions that were missing when you played. Many times they will add content to the beginning, or the ending, however you will end up feeling "It's not really worth replaying the game though".

4. Play something else: While you wait 1-10 years for "Yet another mediocre roguelike adventure game" to come out of EA, you could play some of the other games in your backlog that you never got to, or of course you could just go outside and head to your local governing office and
 
Now that Elden Ring is done, what are you guys hoping he'll play next? Personally, I hope it isn't more card games. I'm glad he enjoys them, but they just aren't for me.
Eh, the Donkey man's opinions ain't worth salt, so you shouldn't reference him if you're trying to make a point. Also dude is a potentially actual cuck, and whined about getting banned off of League for being an asshole. The last person you should refer to saying something "the best" is a goddamn League player, Luneko. Crucify me if you want, but I also don't think it gets that crazy until they introduce time travel. Otherwise it's an exaggeration.

Did Vinny ever mention moving his streaming setup to a different area? I noticed in todays stream he was sitting next to a door. At one point the color started to lighten up from the GBA cam and you could see the door, he noticed and changed the setting to darken his background up more. Lol

He said he plans on playing 2 old games, one being the Wario one hes playing now and the other he didnt reveal yet.

I bought Prodeus in early access after watching Vinny play it and it was awesome. Tons of content and an active scene of level creators. I think you just need to be smart and do your research before buying.

Yeah it's really just a personal preference, i've just had a lot of games where they change things to cater to a different audience and patch things out, and it ruins the game for me. So many bad experiences with games changing things because of fuckos on reddit complaining that it's "too hard". One particular case was a game I really enjoyed called "Vagante" which was this great roguelike that actually had good multiplayer. Well right when the game was about to be finished, the devs had an argument because the one guy was mad it wasn't getting popular, so he went through and fucked with the scaling to make it easier, while adding a bunch of new problems. The longtime fans complained as this dev continued to make the game worse, catering to an audience that didn't exist. At this point the other dev had left, and the artist vanished without a trace, leaving the one dev to continue to try and make the game "easier" and more "accessible" eventually he realized that the main audience was leaving and was like "Okay fine you want the game to be hard again, take this lol" and he literally adds a lever you flick that just doubles enemies health and damage (he completely gutted the original hardmode, which added new attack patterns/ect). I'm sorry for sperging, it was such an underrated game, it was literally finished, and this one guy ruined everything. All the new players have no idea how much shittier the game is now, compared to before.

Yeah, i've just had bad luck with the games I get into. I also remember Firefall, which was just fucking deleted from my steam library lmao.

I promise my next post will be about one of the saucers and not offtopic autism.

he mentioned something about playing the mario & luigi RPG's in the near future and that he wants to start with bowser's inside story. i don't think he's expecting any particular AAA game to come out in the near future, so i imagine he'll start playing that in the near future, and i can't wait for it.
the tangents that he went on during his playthrough of superstar saga were glorious, so i imagine bowser's inside story will get much of the same treatment, especially now when he's bringing up 9/11 conspiracy theories, gamer soldiers going to afghanistan and saying "fuck you" to a chat member while looking directly into his webcam. vinny's level of edge is just right at this moment.
