I don't doubt that. But it's gonna be hard to top that Bieber game...The corruptions tonight are fucking hilarious and y'all should watch them, it's the best Vinny we've had in a while.
this was fucking aids holy shit, I don't even know how you make a midi that perfectly out of tuneMayro Kratt 64
he's de-censoring himself a bit as his return progresses, his early post-cancellation content was overly cautious, very glad he's getting his confidence back. doubt we'll ever get back to /v/inesauce spice levels, but seeing the man breathe and speak unweighted really rallies mine hojosVinny seemed a bit extra spicy during that charity stream. In a good way. I mean, from outright mentioning someone masturbating to the Rumble Rose section of corruptions to saying something along the line of "A gamer army? Well, in 10 years they'll be in Afghanistan" in response to a commercial from the Video Game Commercials segment. During a charity stream for an actual ongoing war. Maybe I'm being dumb and it's not that noteworthy, but it piqued my interest regardless.
You can take Vinny out of /v/ but you can't take the /v/ out of Vinny.Vinny seemed a bit extra spicy during that charity stream. In a good way. Can't spell "vinny" without /v/, either. You can take Vinny out of /v/ but you can't take the /v/ out of Vinny.
tbh vinesauce should've branched their own site originally, they had their own little streaming ecosystem back then and if they got a good backend (og twitch was just justin.tv with videa related categories, total amateur hour) they might've steamrolled twitch at launch. we could be watching jerma on vine.tv right nowSo this Twitch news is pretty interesting in many ways. Vinny may or may not care about the revenue split, since he always claims to "have enough" money and that subbing isn't required...... but the lack of Twitch exclusivity means that REALISTICALLY he could go back to multi streaming on YouTube once the changes go into effect.
I was watching Joel's art stream last night and one of them had the bisexual flag as the background. I was surprised to see absolutely zero pride emotes in chat (granted it was also a fecal funny joke). If this was jermas chat they would have been spamming the tranny flag for like 5 minutes. Guess that's how it is when your fanbase isn't entirely insufferable.
He probably just doesn't like Kingdom Hearts and doesn't want to play but the giga autistic fanbase won't accept a no for an answer, so he has to say "they sent me death threats" so they stop on their tracks and slow down on the requests. You know, out of all the things Vinny could have gotten a chip on his shoulder from, I'm still surprised it was Kingdom Hearts fans sending him mean, angry emails. I'm sure they couldn't have made up that much of his inbox, and I'm shocked some basic "you're stupid and dumb fuck you" type emails would get him practically traumatized to the point where he'd bring it up more than once, both in videos and in comments. From the Monkey Ball video to the Smash announcement to even the comments of the clip of his reaction to the Smash announcement. Like, christ, Vinny. It can't be THAT bad. Isn't this what they call "living rent free"?
Fully agree. I can almost guarantee he gotten way more shit about Undertale from his fanbase than he ever has about Kingdom Hearts, yet seeing Sora get in Smash had him totally-NOT-seething-lol on stream for a lot longer than it should've lasted. It honestly might be a mix of his fanbase being actually stupid with hounding him about playing it, but I also think it's more so because he's so stubborn about RPGs that aren't the exact same plots as Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VII. He gets so nostalgia-blinded by Square Enix's older library of games sometimes that it's honestly kinda sad how he won't give newer games past the year 2000 a chance. It was surprising that he even picked up Dragon Quest XI when he did, but again, Akira Toriyama's art style is the closest he probably would've gotten to getting a Chrono Trigger 3D game in the modern age, so it makes sense why he looked into it a bit.You know, out of all the things Vinny could have gotten a chip on his shoulder from, I'm still surprised it was Kingdom Hearts fans sending him mean, angry emails. He's said he can't dislike something he's never played, so I don't think it's that. But yeah, that explanation is likely it. Still, this had been going on for over 2 years, at the point of the Smash announcement stream. He probably just doesn't like Kingdom Hearts and doesn't want to play but the giga autistic fanbase won't accept a no for an answer, so he has to say "they sent me death threats" so they stop on their tracks and slow down on the requests.
Some people just need to understand that their parasocial e-daddy just doesn't like everything you do, doesn't matter how much they sugar coat it.
Speaking of Kingdom Hearts i didn't expect Joel of all the vinesauce members to be the one to have played and enjoyed it, but at the rate he's clearing his backlog we'll see another kingdom hearts stream probably next year
Dunkey said it best:KH fans are insufferable though, if you have to write a thesis through tweets on "the story isn't that bad, actually" then I have some news for you.
