Those who partook early on in the sharing of the "evidence" / document, they didn't really get the virtue signalling boost they clearly desired either
  • GPM indirectly had his career ended when his own skeletons became public, including aiding former speedrunner DrunkWario in covering up grooming allegations
  • 8 Bit Brody remains irrelevant, with his viewership at an all time low. However many did romantically connect him with one of the former Art Booru contributors, CryptidKitten
  • The Red Bard hasn't uploaded uploaded since the incident happened. She was one of the core participants in sharing this to a wider audience via social media.
  • MandaloreGaming has basically disappeared entirely from all social media platforms, beyond the occasional self-promotional share. Many not forgiving him for his actions.
  • Shammy hasn't uploaded in a year either, however still contributes to the podcast "Please Stop Talking"
I cannot really think of anyone else of note, which says more about those seeking to cash in on this nonsense.

Any word on if a legal case is still being considered?

It seems someone within that respective circle encouraged it, least based upon mutual creative collaborations and other associated factors like followings, timing of the retweet and the like. Peer-pressure.
 
I kind of lost all interest in all that Vinny is doing. It's not the same as say, two or three years ago. The videos have gotten stale, and it feels like they are somewhat forced. It is true that chat propelled a lot of the streams, and you really see that its missing most of the time. It's all just... meh. Nothing special. Feels like watching a Youtuber #4755. I still watch Joels streams from time to time, those tend to be fun and interesting, especially geoguessr and similar ones, but V is just not the same anymore.

I instantly lost interest during part 5 of his Ocarina Of Time stream when he pointed out and berated a chat member for posting the same questions five times from a PREVIOUS stream. Why even point that out and keep track of it? Why even give it the attention? It sucks because Ocarina is my favorite game of all time and I love when he plays any version of it. But not feeling it at all here.

And of course he went into another "I will never play Undertale" rant and a "Games I don't want to play" rant.

He did mention eventually playing Snatcher. That would be an awesome game right up his alley. I'd love if Vinny streamed that.

no it's obnoxious as hell to be a try-hard in chat like that, he's done this a couple of times and I CLAPPED each time, vinny bullying chat is highly based.

i rated you feels for this because Snatcher fucking rules and it pisses me off that slowbeef became a bitch after translating it, but its true vinny would love it, blade runner and metalgear x-over he'd be in love totally

I believe Slowbeef only did the LP of Snatcher. He translated Policenauts. Oddly enough, that's another Kojima game that Vinny would enjoy.

Agreed on Slowbeef kinda becoming a bitch. Props to Diabeetus for not.

I guess now that he makes prerecorded content more often he could just play snatcher without having to worry about it not being that engaging for a streaming audience, as it's mostly a VN.
 
Autistic vinny is the best.
Always nice to hear our guy talk about his fixations.
Even if he's hopping on the whole wordle train a little too late.
