I can't fucking believe Vinny participated in a tournament not only featuring, but on the same team as Arin Hanson.

So its been nearly a year since the whole allegations shit and like looking back, what did those like people even accomplish in the end? Vinny has ultimately stayed roughly as popular, only taking a dip in viewership on twitch due to his inconsistent schedule, the charity stuff was the biggest and most successful its ever been and Vinny seems genuinely happier now to and on top of that some of the furfags and trannies mods fucked off to like GPM and such.

I imagine it must have sucked a shit ton for Vinny and probably still does a bit today due to the invasion of his private life but in the end it seems like things ended up improving for him and like his whole "Brand" as a whole and only the dissenters got buried.

Jesus Christ how time flies, He handled it super well. I think this is the first time I've ever seen someone make a "comeback" from such serious allegations.

I wish him nothing but the best.

It helps that the allegations were that he had consensual sex with adult women. Most people saw the callout as the accusers trying to harm Vinny, which was a complete backfire for the accusers and whoever they tricked into supporting them.

Projared recovered eventually after his response video (and the canceling efforts against him were orders of magnitude stronger). Simpleflips had one recently that never even got off the ground before fizzling into obscurity. Also, people like ZeRo and Callmecarson were able to come back after releasing very dubious responses to their respective allegations. Truth be told, one can usually make a comeback given a good response and/or enough time for the public to forget about it. It's increasingly becoming a "boy who cried wolf" situation where the response to internet allegations is met with increasing skepticism.

The Simpleflips one was fucked up. It was his bitch girlfriend forcing him to tell all his fans that he was a dirty, naughty, cheater. He had to live with that for over a year before she finally came clean and admitted that she only did it because she was jealous that he had a platonic female friend, and that he never cheated at all.

You can blame the guy all you want for being pussy-whipped, but Simpleflips is not an attractive male and he might have felt that this relationship was his one and only chance.
 
I've tried to watch some Vinny and some Joel and I dunno it feels like the magic is gone, before it felt like your dumbass friend showing you this funny thing they did in a game, now it just feels off ya' know?
