The funny part was immediately when he asked chat was flooded with no don't, guess he still did it anyways.
 
Genuinely surprised that Vinny, Mike, Rev and Limes are streaming Mario Party Superstars right now. I'm aware Mike streams with the latter two streamers often, but I don't think Vinny and Limes have done a stream together in some capacity in actual years outside of charity obligations. Who would've guessed the allegations would bring pre-2015 Vinesauce back? Next thing you know it, MentalJen will return, Fred takes a shower, and our beloved StupidFace guest streams on Vinny's channel :story:

If memory serves me right, he kinda did a few years back, but he shits on them every chance he gets now.

He switched sides when Nintendo attempted to sue his ass into oblivion ever since he's been very critical of them, not unjustified considering streaming is his livelihood

Iirc Nintendo attempted to sue Vinny for all the romhacks streams he uploaded to youtube, he wasn't the only one apparently, around that time Nintendo got very pissy and was just going on a rampage against youtubers and they seem to be doing that again recently

I remember Vinny being genuinely crushed when he started getting hit with notice after notice on his Nintendo videos, because he's always been a very open Nintendo fanboy and couldn't believe that the company would try to gun for him so hard; he mentioned feeling extremely let down by the money-grubbing when it first happened. He still brings it up on occasion nowadays and you can tell how genuinely embittered the whole affair made him.

At that time (I believe it was 2013-2014), Nintendo was going after just about every content creator whose primary focus was Nintendo, even if they weren't showcasing modded or hacked content. The romhacks and corruptions definitely put Vinny on their map, but I don't think it was because of the hacking itself, just that he was making Nintendo-based content. Nintendo has been on a trend of slash-and-burning any ROM sites that host any old Nintendo ROMs for years, even if the company is literally not selling them anymore; if it was purely about profit, they'd have had no reason to go after Vinny or these sites to begin with.

Nintendo has always been one of the very first companies to spend billions on lawsuits against ROM sites and other resource hosting sites that include nintendo merchandize, but the thing with youtubers and other content creators is weird because at times they just let them live until suddenly they start making digital mass graves of them until they suddenly stop and let them alone again for a bit, no idea what the fuck Nintendo strategy here is but they seem to change their mind about content creators every year or so from:
"Its ok its free advertisement"
to
"Fuck 'em they owe us billions and should be in jail for life"
