Dear lord, The Monotonist is a pretentious dude. That whole Glitchhikers segment was a bit of a wreck and the fact Vinny played the Nightmare Puppeteer stuff for 30ish minutes after is proof of that. That was a repeat, too.
But then that Mono guy joined, and I either never heard him speak or he just never stood out, but he came across as a really preachy, annoying, pessimistic cunt. The whole shebang really, unfunny jokes that everyone pretends to laugh at, annoying voice, capitalism bad, ancestors bad, literally adds nothing. Somehow ties minecraft villagers into some dumb metaphor about businesses. Is he always this bad? Or was it a full Joshua moon, which strengthened the autism for that episode? I just can't stand doomers that make everything negative while fishing for good boy points. I don't follow any mod vinny brings on, I'm guessing this is one of those furry mods right?
I guess he's just always been like that.

Tbf, the game was kinda just garbo anyways, so nothing was lost.

I'll always remember him as "that guy who in the Japanese Pizza Cat Gmod video felt the need to repeat his "smoke wheat everyday" joke in both voice chat and the text chat of which no one responded to either attempts".

Got a good chuckle out of the most recent Geoguessr video Vinny did. This particular game was limited to country capitals. At 1:42:54 Vinny gets a place that looks kinda crappy, has somewhat rundown vehicles, and has predominantly black people in it. The actual location is Harare, Zimbabwe.

Vinny's first thought? Washington D.C.

Joel announcing some charity streams in aid of Ukraine.

Wasn't Joel just bitching in the GTA stream about how people would watch the charity stream through the separate channels rather than migrating to the main charity channel? And now immediately after saying that he's part of a charity stream where they're only streaming on their separate channels? Granted, this doesn't seem to be THE Vinesauce charity stream, but it seems like a bizarre grievance to air right before doing the very thing that goes against it.

Also might just get this out here, but I refuse to watch Mike on principle because he thinks it's acceptable to scream into his $5 Best Buy bargain bin microphone that sounds like absolute dogshit. If he doesn't care to put enough effort into basically half the streaming experience (the presenter's commentary), why should I care about anything else in his stream if he can't nail one of the most basic parts of it? And going off what others say, it doesn't really seem like I'm missing out on some brilliant personality with his angry ranting over kids games.

I think the point of Joel complaint was that the audience was split between the channel hosting and the actual charity stream, this is not a problem with the current charity because the main account is his own so all of his audience is focused on a single place as is happening.
Sure Mike and Rev watchers will have some residual watchers left seeing the host trough Mike and rev channels but i think the biggest problem is that Joel had the biggest number of people (i believe he said 3k people) passively watching on Joel channel and not interacting with the actual charity event

You'd be astounded how little people care about audio quality.

Moderate PL: I run a modest-sized channel with a lot of talking and I spent a measly hundred bucks on my mic. I have better audio quality than 99.9% of the other people in my "business", with no attempt to monetize on my end at all. It's baffling how people pulling in money from Twitch/Patreon are just okay with fucking terrible audio quality, both input-wise and editing-wise.

It makes me thankful that Joel is such a picky bitch about his audio.

Color me curious, what do you do videos on, if i may ask? i'm always open to new shit to watch

Trust me when I say it's nothing you'd be interested in. I mainly do MLP fanfic reviews and Top 10 Reddit Comeback videos.
I do have interest on the hardware tho, any recommendations? i want to avoid buying something absurdly overpriced with shitty quality when i could just buy a 100 bucks mic that works just fine

This is the model I use. It serves me well enough in combination with audacity. Only problem I have with it is it being a touch bulky, but I'd imagine basically any good mic is going to be that way. Definitely recommend buying a matching pop filter. I just use the fuzzy dickhead-looking covering but the mounted ones that go between you and the mic work just fine, maybe better at blocking sudden breaths that would otherwise cause an awful racket. You kind of just learn to speak carefully after a while.

I chuckled when i opened the link because Joel always uses blue yeti as an example of absolute dogshit overhyped equipment, thank you tho will check it out

Be very glad you're not in the Vinecord then, they were actually defending the game in their special chat and seething about Twitch chat calling it pretentious.
