When you are an artist putting out art in a span of a stream there's not much "creativity" you can put out for your attention whoring outside of what was shown in the past to appeal to the streamer and chat.

I miss the days when we use to fuck around in chatango saying stupid shit with no one looking to get singled out by the streamer and having basic shitposts shared on the Booru. Ever since they kept on policing the quality of the art it went downhill from funny images to too high-quality images with a lack of any good substance.

I remember the art used to be a lot more varied than that and it being more than just fanart of Vinny himself. I remember how much I laughed at the art of the various characters from Miitopia. Also, people really got into the Imp Vinny stuff to the point where there was a 3d render of it.

I've thought about drawing fanart before, but it would probably be something silly and not very high quality.

I wasn't around in those days but they looked a lot more fun to participate in. At that time, a lot of the people producing quality art also did porn on the side. And I guess because of the tumbrlites who started becoming fans around 2015, he had to clean up his act a bit. I do think the booru itself could use some better moderation and updates for better tagging categories. Maybe he should start weeding out these crazies by just loosening up a bit on perverted stuff because they really hate it.

That's the thing: Cheesy is sooo openly parasocial about the people she watches that anyone with a functioning brain stem could draw the conclusion that she's probably not someone you'd wanna spend alone time with if she's your "biggest fan". She also tends to refer to her friendship simulators by their first names and makes it sound like she's a lot more in with their circles than reality. That drawing she did for Joel highlights that delusion right there in the paragraph:

"Don't be afraid to hit me up, I'd love to buy you a coffee or something...etc"

...With what money? From your mother's purse? Like... come on. She can't actually think Joel's gonna read that and say to himself, "Yeah! I'll fly across the ocean to hang out with an 18 year old next time I'm in Florida!". For one, that's begging for some creeperinos to ensue (if Joel has no common sense in this hypothetical), and secondly- they have about as much in common than Vinny and PeachJars do in that Among Us VR stream.


That comment was genuinely shocking with how much of her opinions are basically word for word things that Vinny has said himself on stream. I mean... when the allegations dropped, she suddenly decided to distance herself from her "fans" because she "doesn't want people examining her private life". Yeah Cheesy, i'm sure that all of two people in your Twitch chat are DYING to know the REAL you off stream and your personal life, ok. Surely Vinny has to be aware of her behavior and has some kind of middleman barrier between them when he does VR stuff with friends. I could go on about her for ages since she's definitely one of the more interesting Vinesauce-adjacent people in recent years... but not for a good reason at all lol.

Yeah that comment was fucking weird, it's like she's the epitome of basing your opinion on what someone else says but she's gone as far as her entire personality being based on another person, absolutely godongo my balongo.

At the time I didn't think much of it because I presented it as a joke, but they immediately started chastising me saying that it's not ok to joke about being thirsty for Vinny. I was a little confused because they were doing the same thing, but creepier. When I explained that I was just goofing around, they acted as if what I did was equivalent to sexual harassment. Then they told me that I should stop making excuses and accept accountability over posting said gif. Like I have no respect for these people who unironically see Vinny as this "unproblematic soft asexual bean uwu".

I highly doubt that Vinny is going to care about some random furry posting an awooga.gif on discord. I've pretty much held the common opinion that he's handsome but that's it. Is it now forbidden to compliment him on his appearance because of some bullshit drama?

Glad I never joined the Artcord then. Jesus christ that's weird.. they're on permanent copium for their parasocial streamer issues. I do find it interesting that the only thing Cheesy does in the actual Vinecord is post her art but never chat to anyone. On the less weirdo side Jackal is pretty damm cool and not a creeperino.

I was in the Artcord during it's first 3 or so months because it was fun to watch the autism present there. I never even knew it got renamed. Mostly just felt like a friend group + orbiters who wanted to get into it to try and get closer to the streamers.

You know what, those morons in Artcord told me that he stopped the art segments because of people being "too sexual" when it doesn't make any sense due to the nature of the jokes Vinny makes. Now that I know that these people were so obsessive to the point that they genuinely believed that he was their boyfriend or something. They're in major denial that they're part of the problem and are doubling down by claiming they don't objectify Vinny.
 
Vinny is both a person keenly aware of another's intent, yet also so fucking stupid as to not notice the extremely obvious undertones of something, at times. He really is the definition of a lovable idiot, including the aspects that are frustrating.

You don't know the half of it regarding Vappy. To put things into perspective. Vinny was essentially forced to comment on his passing regretfully not because of how dear Vappy was to him but because Vappy essentially tormented Vinny. This made the speech more of one of disgust having to talk about it than anything as he had to essentially pull stuff out of his ass to sound sorry. Not only that but Vappy's lover would commonly join the twitch chat and instigate and start drama up midstream with Vinny blaming him for shit after Vinny kicked him out of the community. INCLUDING after Vappy's passing.

There are some things I just wish were stopped early but the charade just keeps on going just to conform to protect the normalcy that's painted on.

Got any other Vappy stories? I've been watching Vin for a long time but I only really watch VODs without chat and I skip art segments, so I've been very unfamiliar with the Vappy shit outside of what was explicitly stated in this thread when he died.

The issue is Vappy himself was mostly "private" and unless you were important in the community he wouldn't talk to you. He viewed what he did as mostly a job and then he started to use Vinny either be it over something Vappy had over Vinny that he didn't want out (maybe related to allegations?) or something stupider. Eventually, he said that was enough and Vinny pushed the narrative of them going their "separate ways" and that it was "positive".

Outside of that, anytime I talked with Vappy it mostly was him saying thanks and then leaving a minor snide remark, and then the conversation was over. Never really wanting to get to know or act like he wants to be part of anything.
I don't have any other stories outside of what I've said prior as he was pretty much a recluse from the community and mostly stayed in mod chat or posted some images.
 
New boardgame stream was pretty fun. Didn't think tabletop sim could be so entertaining, might finally get it at some point.

I think the signs were all there, we just didn't think about it at the time. 😱

For context, he was talking about Sleep No More, an interactive play based on Macbeth but in a film noir setting. He mentioned that there's some nudity and sexual content but had to repeat that "it totally wasn't sex" several times. When you attend the event you have to wear a mask, stay silent, and not touch the performers at all. Vinny also said that he had a "private session" with one of the matron performers in a water tower where she gives him tea, tells him something cryptic, and then kissed him on the cheek at the end.

And while it does sound weird, I'd like to experience it someday. I like artsy stuff like this and it kind of reminds me of a David Lynch movie.

Inconsequential but mildly amusing one I experienced with him was when the Splatoon 2 final boss spoiler thumbnail thing happened. I messaged him and basically said "Hey, some people really don't like having a final boss spoiler right there front and center in the thumbnail for a new game. There's some overreacting, but it'd probably be better if it was changed to something more vague just to avoid the flame war in the comments", to which his reply to was to say I was something along the lines of a "SJW bitch cuck faggot". I could've proven him true and got offended by his hurtful internet words, but instead I just found it really amusing that an admin would act like that in a mild-mannered conversation about something on the Fullsauce channel.

Honestly just a sketchy memory from years ago, so take it as hearsay. I believe the conversation something along the lines of telling him a lot of people don't like it, him saying people are overreacting (which I somewhat agreed), then after I said it'd still probably be best to just change it to avoid unnecessary drama, at which point it was him saying I was being too sensitive as a SJW cuck etc. Seemed out of character, but I didn't really know him enough to make much of it except be amused and move on.
