Actually nothing. He explained that he wanted to do this last night but he told chat something came in between, then told everyone who was watching this morning that he actually did nothing except get food and fall asleep while watching trash TV. Saw something funny, felt inspired to stream when he woke up because he was in a good mood.

Joel is the kind of dude to live (mostly) stress free, no big compromises, no crushing expectations, profiting from his hobbies and saving up for retirement by keeping a frugal life, streams whenever the fuck he feels like it and his audience knows and respects that, he never wanted to be a professional A-list celebrity, he just wanted to do what was fun to him and chill out and he achieved it in a stable manner, honestly i envy him

Clicked on porn ads (cropped) because there weren't many people watching in the EU morning hours, and got paranoid because something in his neighborhood happened so after like hour 2 of the stream you've constantly had a battle between Joel trying to speak louder than the sirens outside. Later his sound regulator broke and chat went deaf – imagine Vinny's crisp/chirp noises during corruptions, but for minutes at a time and way louder.

A chat member dreamed that Joel broke into his house and was really short, Joel replied and couldn't stop laughing.
Later he made Vietnam jokes, and how he misses his comrades. Then he sent emails to anti-virus companies in China.

All in all, 6 hours of a perfect morning stream.

What's going on with that Zero guy who made the Garfield meme game? In the past brought the stream to a crashing stop to guilt Joel into being his friend. Recently he's had Joel help him with a charity stream for his mom and I could feel Joel drip with anxiety over not being a good person.

Probably just an awkward 'tismo with bad social skills trying to be friends with someone he admired. I don't know the guy, but I'm inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt since he was doing a stream for his own mother rather than "GIANT MYSTERIOUS CHARITY ORGANIZATION #15152". Garbagefield isn't particularly funny though, except the Doom WAD he made with the "I'm funnier than Grand Dad, right?"

Glad to hear the destruction was worth watching, I'll definitely be checking it out.

Dude has been insisting for a while honestly, wanting to be his pal, not only at the end of Garbagefield. After Vinewrestle Joel said he'd probably get a guest next year, and Zero suggested he should be the co-commentator. Also reminded him how he didn't checked every ending of his game. Sure, he seemed very transparent about the whole charity stream but ehh, every interaction he has with Joel it's kinda...awkward

That happened with the Drunk CSGO video, too. He was trying to say "Schwarznegger" :story:

It's not that hard to find video of Joel or Vinny using similar words. That sort of thing was very common when they first started. I'd be curious to see how Joel in particular would react - Vinny seems to take that sort of thing in stride, but I haven't seen anyone confront Joel with the language he used to use back in the day. I'd be curious to see how he'd respond to someone calling him out for that kind of thing. I remember he did get called out for an "attack helicopter" joke around 2015, but this is much different - that can be written off as ignorant as best, but using the N-word even a few years ago was heavily frowned upon. I wonder what he'd say if someone drew it to his attention?

RIP Robin Wiliams, btw. Great actor and man.

They recenty added One Hour Photo to Netflix Germany. If you have the chance to watch it in your country, do it. Amazing movie with a stellar performance by Williams. Criminally underrated.
 
World's Greatest Dad is another hidden gem of his. Not sure where you can watch it outside of 123movies and the like, but great stuff.

Williams is just such a sad goddamn story, it breaks my heart thinking about it.
 
Can't believe Joel's luck but vegas crashed on him and now has to render the ending video for the whole day, but its the shit you hold yourself too when you do everything 5 min prior to the stream

Related: /v/ is a blacklisted phrase on the automod in Joel's channel. Some person was asking about the history of Vinesauce offline chat (in offline chat) and I tried bringing up the fact Vinesauce has origins in /v/, which is why Vinny also most likely had his offline chat in lockdown with the whole "shit is hard to regulate" thing.
