Vinesauce themed "online interactive experience"

Looks like a mid '00s pre-social media browser mmo themed around Vinesauce.
I sense incoming autism.
Fangames are a special breed of unbearable because not only do you have to watch a streamer struggle through a subpar self-indulgent wankfest but they have to pretend to love it, too.

At this point if you're still gonna make posts about LGBTQ+ emotes being posted with filters already added to censor them, maybe close the chat so that we can stop recycling the same "vinesauce is being DESTROYED by trans ppl1!1!1" conversations that barely affect the stream itself nor the actual streamers. There's a reason why Full Sauce exists.
Thank God someone is finally standing up for poor, oppressed Twitch chat. And here I was beginning to think this place was just full of alt-right nazi bigots.

Apparently Jabroni Mike says that Vinny saved him from offing himself when he was suggested to start a stream. Dude was popping pills too.

I know Mike is moreso a Vinesauce-adjacent member, and yeah he gets a little intense on stream here and there but it's cool to know Vinny was looking out for him and helped him out of a real rough patch.
Mike is a bit of an open book, I've been watching him for years now, and I see myself in him a lot, things I personally grew out of.
I remember when he first started making streams with Fredrik Knudsen, he would have an extremely pandering and pleasing personality towards him, it felt like he was trying really really hard to make him feel good, which makes me think he's a bit of a people pleaser, and whenever he is streaming with someone he basically tells chat to fuck right off, which is pretty based, but whenever he's by himself he gets extremely insecure from the chat, you can feel him constantly trying to appease the elitists that constantly remind him that they are better than him at a game, sure, he's not the greatest GAMERYEAH out there, but he makes up for it by giving a ton of commentary, usually about whatever random thing he came across on twitter that day, which is in my opinion is his biggest appeal, that and his comedic creativity. but again, all of that gets so hindered when the fucking stupid chat starts mocking him and telling him to keep playing the boring ass game with his shitty gameplay (NEXT BIT LOL).

Mike would be much better off if he didn't give so many fucks about the chat's opinion, and did whatever he found fun at the given moment, like he does when he streams with other people.

I mean, I understand both sides of the argument. I hate the people who spam the chat and make it unreadable (and, as a gay dude, I hate the extreme trans fraction of the LGBT community), but at the same time I think there's no point in talking about it all the time, hiding the chat is a possibility. Also it's true that it doesn't affect the streamers most of the time (sometimes it does, though, like during the rat game or during Joel's Animal crossing stream).

As long as people won't talk about it for pages and pages on here, I'm not mad at people venting their frustrations here or sharing ways how to clean up chat.

I totally get where you’re coming from too as a bi person, and there’s definitely a fraction of people in the community that take things too far (such as forcing sexuality on real people that they arent ((ie. vinny being gay, joel being trans etc))). Spam in general can be frustrating in the Vinesauce chat when people say “SPEEEEEN” or post 80 million pogChamps in 5 minutes, but to be worked up and personally disturbed by LGBTQ+ spam in particular seems to be a bit obsessive and bizarre if that’s every other post someone makes imo.

There’s a difference between complaining about spam, but it’s a whole other thing to dedicate pages upon pages of the same complaint that’s more directed towards LGBTQ+ people, rather than the Vinesauce chat spam itself being the issue. When it pops up on stream (which has only happened a handful of times iirc), it’s either for a few seconds or completely scrapped from the VOD (@joel’s animal crossing stream). Obviously I can’t tell people feel differently about their phobia, but id imagine feeling exhausted spending countless hours of my life whining about it when it’s not really relevant to the stream. That’s the last thing I’ll say about this particular subject on the thread, and I can discuss this further in DM’s, but moving forward...

Mike would be much better off if he didn't give so many fucks about the chat's opinion
Granted, Mike’s audience is whatever leftover scraps of Vinny’s audience so there’s no surprise that chat’s gonna tell him he sucks at games. However, he doesn’t really have the spine and thick skin to handle the variety of comments that get hurled at him from chat, which was honestly one of the reasons why I tuned off from his streams. He has a level of vulnerability that he shows that makes things uncomfortable very quickly (ie. the banjo-kazooie video linked a few pages back). He’s kinda like Fred in the sense that he plays off other people pretty well and works better in group settings, but unlike Fred has the charisma and energy to keep people interested like you mentioned.

Anyone got any predictions for the charity incentives this year. Honestly, as long as Joel does some big jump tier shit again this I’d be mildly pleased.

Big Jump is an exemplar in what charity incentives should be. Quick, fun, easy, and memorable. None of this "forcing yourself to do something you hate" like Vinny did with the Jap Karaoke, just have the incentives be weird, vague premises that you can do some fun shit with without it being a huge commitment.

I'm going to pog my fucking balls off if we can get Joel to say "Nice" on stream.

I don't think anything will recreate the exuberant joy of Joel's really tall jump. I was laughing literally from beginning to end in that bit, and my only sadness is that he cut out that super long pause in the middle when he uploaded it to Youtube, because I honestly think that that made the joke.

As for actual predictions, I think that we'll get the same basic ones that they'll never follow through on - Vinny will promise to upload an old stream/old video with him in it, or maybe he'll promise to play some shitty visual novel. Either way, he will conveniently "forget" for long enough that people let it go, and he'll do one of the easier ones instead, which will likely be playing some fanmade Vinesauce-related game.

Joel will promise to make good on his myriad of facecam incentives, and will also conveniently "forget" to do so. He's the worst at actually doing the incentives he promises, so I think he will neglect to do any of them for several months, if he does them at all.

Rev will promise a few small things that are well within reason, and then, to everyone's surprise, will actually do them. It may take a while, but I've seen that he tends to be the most focused on actually completing his charity incentives, so I believe he will eventually finish them. (And I don't know enough about the other streamers to comment on them.)

I genuinely hope Joel will do his cooking stream for real this time. It'd be fun and it's something he loves as well. But I get that he dislikes showing his face, so maybe he could just point the cam at like his body and cut off at his neck like a lot of cooking YouTubers do.

In this stream (4:10 if it doesn't take you there), Rev was talking about watching and commentating the entire Air Bud franchise including the modern puppy movies. But yeah, he started Homestuck for charity in August last year right after the charity stream and has been reading since, plus his watching Jojo commentary series. Hoping he's willing to do at least some flash games like he used to cause I miss those streams, but I get that they're a pain in the ass to find content for and to upload VODs due to copyright BS.

As for Realign by Red Vox, pretty good album. Still like Another Light a hair more, but I think Realign will warm on me and I'm definitely going to shell out for the vinyl.

Just saw this on his Twitter, Joel definitely has his heart at the right place.
Although, a bit of a morbid question: in which country does a funeral cost 25K?

Link .

It's really sweet to see him using his platform to help someone out like this. Charity streams notwithstanding, this is an act of genuine altruism and I hope he'll reach out to people again like this in the future.

You'd be surprised how fucking expensive funerals can get. Coffins alone can cost thousands of dollars, and that's not even counting the money that goes into purchasing a plot for the burial, a headstone, paying for the embalming and preservation process, so on and so forth. I've never heard of one getting quite THIS expensive, but I imagine there must be a good reason if Joel is boosting the donation post anyway. Perhaps part of the fees are travel related? (As in, if they need to take the niece out of the country/need to help family pay to fly in to see her.)

In one of their campaign updates they mention that the 25k was just a rough estimate, after getting all of the quotes back it would be ~17k instead. They said anything extra will just be given to the family.

I'm kinda surprised that Joel wasn't cancelled over a video game he made where you pay a stereotypical asian hooker chicken nuggets to get a blowjob, but she has so many STDs your face literally explodes. And uncle Jontles doesn't seem remorceful about the offensive jokes whatsoever, he even considers making a sequel.

Wasn't BBQ Quest 2 supposed to be a charity incentive?
