But the situations are not the same. No gay man ever looked you in the eye and demanded you call him 'heterosexual'. No gay man ever demanded you believe and say he was straight, with State punishment for refusal. No gay men ever led a chant saying "Gay men are straight men! Lesbians are straight women!"

They did, however, demand you act as if they're completely normal, even as they marched in Pride parades under NAMBLA banners. In the late 60s/early 70s, they also openly demanded that all children are taken away from their parents and given to faggots to "educate". You know, to eradicate the completely unfounded bigotry against homos that permeates the heteropatriarchal society, that was the reason, they had no other aims, no sir.
