You’re correct but any online forum is going to be full of terminally online weirdos who love their computer toys.

Videogames are objectively a waste of time. You’re neglecting the real world to indulge in a fantasy made by some faggot in Vancouver. If the world you’re neglecting is worse than a game, you should be working to fix it. Mass media is why men stand by and watch their nation get swamped by third worlders and do nothing but preen themselves.

I don't think posting on KiwiFarms is going to fix the world either.

Me? I just like wasting time, relaxing and being lazy. Not my responsibility to address everybody else's issues or make the world a better place, since nobody can agree on what the hell that's supposed to mean anyways. If everybody just minds their own business society functions a lot better.
 
Serious answer: Humans need some time to blow off steam and chill out.
You can't be productive for 100% of the time you are awake, if you try that, then you'll burn out incredibly fast.
If you try to use your rest time to learn things, then you won't absorb any information you were supposed to be learning.
Training for longer than 2h is a waste of time and can even even damage your body.

Spending a couple hours a day on games, tv, slop books or anything that is considered "a waste of time" is not detrimental, as long as the rest of your day is spent on useful things.

Yeah that's true, it's kind of embarrassing to play videogames.

Although realistically it's probably better for you than scrolling social media and it's certainly less likely to turn you into an insufferable homosexual, especially if you're playing games that are challenging or require creativity, so just embrace being embarrassing in moderation.
 
I know this is bait but I always found it funny how most people who say exactly this are always the same people who spend their time watching movies and shows like that isn't equally a waste of time instead
