I have had particular interest in these lately, is there any you believe?

What the literal fuck are you asking about?

There's so many things you could mean that might be an interesting conversation here (hence my clicking in) but you went low-effort and didn't explain what you wanted, so now I'm just here to call you a faggot.

I remember hearing that the Nokia N-Gage design was based off Goatse.

After the 80s, joysticks fell out of style because using one was so much like jacking a guy off that parents' groups were concerned that they would turn their sons gay.

Legend has it you can smell John Romero's chrome plated balls if you scratch and sniff the John Romero's chrome plated balls ad for Daikatana.

I remember reading that if you went through Career Mode in WrestleMania 2000 undefeated as Kane you would unlock a flaming cage. My friend and I decided to give it a go. I fell asleep on him and he completed it only for it to be fake. Lol.

Getting blood on the SNES version of Mortal Kombat. One magazine ran an April Fool's stating the it had a special hidden chip that enabled it, which could be made to work by taping a 50p coin to the cart, the extra weight allowing it to make better contact. And in the pre-internet days, people actually fell for it and wrote in next issue asking why it wouldn't work.

IGN had a guide on how to unlock Shen Long in SF2, with some ridiculous unlock requirements along the lines of beating every opponent with a double perfect inside 30 seconds. You just know people wasted a load of money trying to get that to work.

That was EGM, not IGN.

I'm still heartbroken that their topless mode for Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball was a hoax, it seemed plausible enough since the Mature rating said "nudity" which seemed weird given that the girls were just wearing swimsuits and their doctored screenshots (albeit censored) were convincing enough, I really did believe it was true and what a cruel prank to pull on a 13 year old boy lol.

What's funny is two of EGM's April Fool's day pranks later came true, Shen Long wound up in Street Fighter and Sonic really did wind up in Smash Bros, but the ladies of DOA have yet to officially go topless. :(

When I was in 8th and 9th grade a big one was Tomb Raider having a nude code where Lara Croft is naked the whole game. It was a popular one among all of us dumb, horny, boys.

Here's Sheng Long, remember this was 1992 so they weren't used to some of the pixels and having seen a few shops:

IIRC, a whole bunch of Japanese magazines fell for it too.

There are full nude modes for DOAX. It just replaces the bikini textures with skin. IIRC, most of the common ones have the strings from the bikinis still there, floating around.

Oh yeah, of course people made unofficial mods, but the prank was working with the idea that toplessness was officially a part of the game, which wasn't the case, but one can't help but wonder what that might have looked like.

Gen. 1 Pokemon games had a never ending well of rumors when they were released.
