Bioshock Infinite has some really good covers of songs that came out in the 60s/70s/80s/90s, and makes them sound like they came out of the 1910s. It's actually a minor plot point.
 


That guy just doesn't disappoint! Although I guess that music could use a little more length. Those beats are amazing, though.
 
I really love the entire Super Metroid soundtrack.

The original Rain box Six theme just gets the blood pumping.


Also may have posted this earlier in the thread, but I love how both fitting (because football) and unfitting (because warhammer fantasy) the Blood Bowl 2 trailer music is

 
So it's not that long since I played through Star Ocean 2. The soundtrack is pretty good, but nothing too memorable.. Until you get to the second half of the game. Then it just attacks you with all the best tracks..
Damn I love this series.
 
I've been listen to the Xenogears Soundtrack. I haven't listen to all of it yet because I've still playing through the game and rather hear the songs through the game first, but here is some of my favorite tracks so far.








Songs like "Lost... Broken Shards" and "Faraway Promise" do genuinely make me emotional when I listen to them and I think they fit perfectly with the tone Xenogears which is one of the most poignant and depressing games I've played. It may sound stupid to say that a video game of all things could give such an response, but Xenogears is one of the only games that really ever had an emotional impact on me.


 
I still say Grandia II had one of the best battle themes, it's like when you got in a battle instead of it being tedious it was great.
