Fun fact: Secret of Mana was supposed to be released on the Nintendo/Sony Play Station, with CD audio. When the system was cancelled, the game was retooled into an SNES game with MIDI music. Imagine hearing fully-orchestrated tracks like this:

The old 90's Arcade game Lethal Enforcers II had some good music that is reminiscent of the kind of music you'd hear in an old Spaghetti Western from back in the day, which makes sense given the game's Wild West setting. This track from the Saloon Showdown stage was one of my favorites.

This track from The Simpsons: Hit & Run was one of my favorites as well. Sort of sounds like the kind of music that would play on one of those Adult Swim anime bumps back in 2005

I love Gauntlet: Dark Legacy for many reasons, but the music is one of them. There are some super cool songs that bring back memories of killing monsters in droves as a kiddo.

Can't believe this game is just a few months away from being 10 years old. And for a puzzle game about little goo balls, it sure did have an gorgeous soundtrack!
