I like how this piece screams sorrow and despair that the dark templar feel as their homeworld is overtaken by amon, leading them to make the hard decision of destroying it to deny the enemy a foothold. Beautiful and chilling.

Weird, emotional, and kickass tracks from Lisa: The Joyful. Kinda hard to believe that the whole series of games was made by one dude and a few others.

I used to love the Air Combat / Ace Combat games. I loves Ace Combat 2's soundtrack so much that I made my own recordings of the OST. When I got a copy of Wizardry 8, I thought the game was good, but found out the music was replaceable. Right now my best friend and I are going through it (her for the first time and for me, who knows how many times,) but with my modified AC2 soundtrack.
Imagine it, you're in a fantasy setting with a little scifi to it, and this music comes out while you fight, explore and deal with things. It's a thing of beauty.

Had to do the playlist because reasons. Lode Stone is probably my theme music as I get ready to do stuff.
About 45% of all my music I have is vidya soundtracks. It's hard to have normal conversations with women about music when that is the way it is.
Don't ask what another 45% is unless you want POWERLEVEL.
Also I do purdy once in a while.
and for us old types...

NieR Automata has the only soundtrack capable of eliciting a solid few tears. Read spoiler for detail, but beware, spoiler.
The game drops this excellently paced and designed song right when A2 kills 2B at the start of route 3. I spent fifty hours getting attached to the strangely loveable 2B only for this sad as fuck song to play as she dies.

I know this is a random choice but I allways liked this one

and this one

Out of all the songs in Hotline Miami 2, these ones are what I fall back on when I want to listen to something good. Untitled in particular kinda gives a melancholic but relaxed feeling (perhaps the kind where one waits for the nuke after feeling that leaving the world isn't as scary as it sounds).

I love chaingunning enemies to death with this soundtrack.
