i really feel for venus. i remember back in 2012 making fun of her and thinking she's cringy and how funny of a weeb she was before all the stuff w/ her mom came to light.

now i can't make fun of her and can't see why anyone could now make fun of her and i am proud of her. fuck, she escaped the ultimate abuser and took pictures of mocking her escape on the "stolen" laptop (i saw these on the PULL archive thread they are really funny).

she's still a bit childish but it really comes from being sheltered like she was. yet, she gives out a positive energy even when she is talking about the depression. i kinda relate to her in a way which is why i steer clear of the threads cuz i dont wanna powerlevel but i come from the same background and

just i wish nothing but the best for her and manaki and her hammie.
 
It's been almost a week and a half since anyone has heard from Venus. Manaki commented about her being super cute a couple days ago so i doubt she's dead or anything, but even Aunt Zsu can't get in touch with her. Here is Aunt Zsu begging V to write ("sweetheart, please write me back")

Just checked her twitter, she started posting there again a couple days ago so things seem to be on the mend. She's bullet journaling, and said she stopped filming videos for a bit because she needed time to herself. She's also made some good realizations about not being able to change her past, but having control over how she reacts to it. You just keep keepin' on, kiddo!

i can also relate to making fun of venus around 5-6 years ago and i definitely wanna punch younger me in the face for doing that.

the fact that she's improving herself and becoming independent is really great, i seriously hope that everything goes swimmingly. if anyone deserves it it's her
 
Venus re-tweets a bunch of stuff about how women are super hot, and liking both men and women is a valid thing. Someone decides to be stank about her thinking chicks are hot, and she comes out with an interesting reason as to her attraction to Mana: she loves that he's feminine in appearance and she loves it when he wears female clothing. She also seems to be really happy with her decision to back off of Instagram and YouTube, as shes happy right now.

While I'm sure some of this stuff was at the back of Margo's blathering about Mana being a tranny child, it seems like this is the kind of stuff that makes Venus happy. If Mags tries to bash her for it - which she may well do - it's not gonna go over well with the pastel SJW crowd that tends to dig on Venus's aesthetic.

Oh, which of your parents is related to Hans? I was under the impression he was an only child.

Zsuzsa, Ferenc and Naomi are the siblings of Venus' mother (her mother is very crazy and we do not support her). Venus's aunt Zsuzsa in particular is very supportive of Venus, and reached out to Venus when she moved away from her mom. Zsu recently visited your grandmother in Switzerland, if you are who you claim to be.

Do you have proof that you are related? You can send it privately to the moderators to protect your identity.

Why have you decided to post here?
How old are you?
Where do you live?
Are you close with your grandmother (your mom and Hans' mother)?

We appreciate you coming by to give us some information, but we like to verify that people who claim to be related to a lolcow are in fact related to them. It would help us out if you would verify yourself. This won't take much. Just make a post from a social media account of yours and link us to it. You can PM staff (me if you like), make a Talk To Staff thread, or post it in this thread. Once you do that and we see it, then you can delete the post. Its only purpose is verification.

FYI Venus's father's name is Hans Neuenschwander, if that helps the confirmation (although this poster likely has a different last name if their mother is married).
 
@aqswtz - how did you find this thread?

If your mother has any documentation with her maiden name on it, that might work. Photos of your uncle, especially with Venus. Cousinship is kind of hard to prove, maybe mods have a better suggestion.
