When chavez was alive this was true, it was not weird seeing people fighting in the streets because they were pro government, but sadly "love with hunger doesnt last" when shit hited the fan the chaviztas bleeded support everywhere and the result was the massive disaster of the parliamentary elections where we won by landslide

There is a little misconception there, yes he was in the peak of popularity but inside his own base, the chavizmo has been bleeding supporters for years, when food began to dissapear, and the promises of houses,cars and all the things were next to impossible to fulfill then people began to dissent, when maduro was elected he only won by a tiny margin than everyone knows he rigged, from there his popularity when downhill until the inevitable 6D when it was proven that NO ONE WANT HIM

He did not stacked with his buddies, he stacked it with people that did not join the national protest when every company and even PDVSA employees did not go to work, because things were going to the shit, Chavez then decided to fire all the people (in PDVSA) that join it and put morons in charge, the result were obvious with the peak of idiocy was reached when the refinery in amuay exploded in such a spectacular faction that the military HQ that was nearby dissapeared and the personal inside died, the refinery was burning for days until chavez finally gave up and ask USA for help

Some part of me fears that future Venezuelan people will think the regin of Hugo Chavez as some sort of golden age while Maduro was a bringer of ruin, that it can be reborn. I would hope that they see that the pink tide, and Chavez, were failures to begin with.
They are not going to prison, one of the bad things in this place is how horrible the justice system is, they are going to have a slap in the wrist and the thing they stole confiscated (or in a good day you can pay a little to the cops to take the items home)
The electricity is lacking even in the capital?
No, but all the other states have to pay the price so caracas never lack electricity, we have shortages of power from monday to friday for three hours (it was 4 hours everyday)
