For the lazy: Basically the previous decision from the English court was a unilateral "Fuck off and die in a fire" to the Venezuelan central bank while the new ruling is more like "Fuck off and die peacefully via carbon monoxide poisoning to this relaxing sound track". They are basically open the door quibbling over de facto and de jure, which is important because the VCB doesn't actually have control of the gold.

It a potentially interesting case as the (UK) recognized head of state doesn't have control of the nation's central bank. But enough about US politics.
 
Another update in the DIRECTV case, after that disaster of last time, things were peaceful in that front until today they appeared with another surprise, they are going to rebrand themselves to SIMPLETV (ugggg) and they have 4 packs called Chamo (Kiddo), Pana (Homie), Jefe (Boss) and Master, yeah, people saw what this means, the government lied about leaving DIRECTV alone and now is theirs with that cringe ass shit names

Obviously the reaction was what everyone expected, people is not going to renew their subscription after the 90 free days expire because giving money to those assholes is worse that not having TV, also no mentions of what channels but is pretty much guaranteed that the directv exclusives are going to be axed, we have reached a level of hatred that if something smell a little venezuelan is instantly rejected

The thing is "mostly" private because they are still using the DIRECTV satellite, the rebranding was dumb there was absolutely no reason for it and pretty sure at&t is not going to risk a sanction for a country that earn less than 1$ a month

So after so much fanfare Maduro got his absurd "Anti sanctions law" lets put in a comfy list what it is about

  1. No one knows not even Maduro party knows only two persons have readed it
Yeah, the thing was approved without even discussing it only thing that they did was, check this out, read the index of the "laws" on their fake and gay congress, but if you analyze it is practically a anti congress law, the thing pretty much bypass the constitution and the congress and make Maduro a de facto king, the always sarcastic venezuelans told him that just remove the name of republic and change it to Kingdom of Venezuela

So what are the "things" that can be inferred from the index

  1. All the powers are now with Maduro, fuck everything else, fuck separation of power, the moustache reign supreme
  2. He can now hide every kind of accountability, he answer to no one now
  3. All the resources of the state pass to his hand, he can do with our gold, oil and probably virgins whatever the hell he wants
What is the real reason for this shitshow of a law? simple, he knows that the election of december is going to be illegal as shit so the plan is lose it on purpose with their controlled opposition but having it neutered so it can't do anything to him, like it is now but with less pretentious acts, is pure and simple, the faggots keep their congress but it cant do anything
 
I can only hope he drops dead of a heart attack while on live TV. You'll have enough oil for your country for weeks after rendering down his fat and cleaning out his arteries.

Living in current day Venezuela seems like a Kafkaesque nightmare. Nothing but months of Maduro and the opposition calling each other doodoo heads and writing bitchy unenforceable legislation that says "no srsly guize we're in charge". Stay safe friend, you're Kiwifarms sole VZ correspondent.

So how's the Corona-chan numbers looking in Venezuela these days? Are people still bragging (do they) about how the great Vzla and Zimbabwe have fewer cases and fewer deaths (I haven't kept track of the cases there, so I have no idea) than the US? As in bragging about how a fucking bus driver is dealing with Corona-chan better than Drumpt? (Again, I don't know if people do that, but I'd expect people that have heads way up their asses with TDS to probably do so)

People on this thread should remember Leopoldo Lopez yeah that guy that was with Guaido during the lol "Failed" coup to Maduro last year? after that thing went to the crap he was bunkered in the Spanish embassy and no one saw him until recently because his sheer hypocrisy because after vowing again and again that he will not leave Venezuela to keep the fight against Maduro he just went and fled to Spain from there he made a interview with CNN and everything that spouted out of his mouth just cemented the fact that he and everyone in the "opposition" are a bunch of idiots that dont care about the people

  1. The entire coup failed because they were waiting for a sentence from Maikel Moreno aka the boss of the Supreme court, according to him the entire thing falls apart because they were waiting for a piece of paper that never arrived, we are talking about a convicted murderer that is sanctioned to hell and back, has a history of being a communist also Padrino Lopez aka the boss of the army was also notified about it, this only mean 1 thing, the commies played them for fools because they did not have anything to lose, the opposition lost everything that day because they "believed", and it worked
  2. He went to spain because he believed Maduro has destroyed any way for him to "work for the people" so he think he can do more outside the country, everyone in the comments just put it fair and simple, his party has been dismantled and he is never going to be president, he is filthy rich so there is no reason to stay in this garbage dump so he leaved and is never going to come back
  3. With him, he is the second "big leader" of the opposition that betrayed the people, the Opposition is broken and without any power, their leaders don't have any plan, Guaido doesn't have any plan (he is still insisting in making the popular consultation and people told him to pick the papers and shove it on his ass") , Venezuela is now officially abandoned to be fucked to hell like Cuba

And Maduro what he is doing?

He is screeching on TV saying that Orange man send a missile to destroy the refinery when in reality they tried to forced to start again and blow the last piece of junk that barely worked
