What is the problem with this you ask? well this would have worked IF WE STILL HAD RESERVES , there are none so this is pointless, to little and to late

Pompeo calls out Corbyn

LONDON (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Wednesday he was disgusted to see politicians in Britain, as well as in the United States, continue to support Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

Responding to a reporter who asked about support for Venezuela’s government by Jeremy Corbyn, the leader of Britain’s opposition Labour Party, Pompeo was blunt in his criticism.

“It is disgusting to see leaders in not only the United Kingdom but in the United States as well who continue to support the murderous dictator Maduro,” Pompeo said at a news conference in London.

British foreign minister Jeremy Hunt, speaking at the same news conference, criticized Labour’s second-most senior official, John McDonnell, for supporting Maduro.

A Labour spokeswoman said the party’s position on Venezuela was to call for no foreign interference in the country.

“We oppose outside interference in Venezuela, whether from the U.S. or anywhere else: the future of Venezuela is a matter for the Venezuelans,” she said.

The leftist Venezuelan president has faced pressure to quit since taking office for a second term. Opposition leader Juan Guaido, calling Maduro’s 2018 re-election fraudulent, invoked the constitution in January to assume an interim presidency and has been recognized by the United States and most other Western nations as Venezuela’s legitimate leader.

Pompeo renewed his criticisms of Labour later on Wednesday when he was asked in a television interview whether Washington was seeking to interfere in the Latin American country.

“Yes, well, providing food for starving children isn’t interference. It’s what we do. It’s in our deepest traditions of humanitarian assistance,” he told Sky News.

“The interference has taken place. The Cubans are there. They have interfered. So I hope Mr Corbyn will ask the Cubans to cease their interference in Venezuela.”

Looks like we are probably going to start bombing soon

I dont think is going to get us anywhere, that announcement came after the disastrous march of yesterday, it was supposed to be a fuck huge march to protest for the arrest of one our congressman but instead of that he barely fill a plaza, people begin to ask what the fuck he was doing and why he was calling for a useless march instead of accepting USA aid to bomb the fuck out of Maduro, he had to bend the knee and asked our Embassador in USA Carlos Veccio (that still cant use the embassy offices because the cunts of Codepink are still there being a pain in the ass) to talk with the commander of the south command, but knowing how fuck stupid the opposition here is, i dont think is going to achieve something, the other thing he said was that via the "group of contact" apparently manage to get China on the table and they were willing to cooperate with us as long as we pay our debt with them, the group agreed and now China is preparing to swipe Maduro, still no words if Russia want to stop being jackasses

Everyone is too busy calling the robust capitalist market economies of the Scandinavian countries Socialism in to find the time to go to Venezuela right now. They've got all those great Socialist policies to hold up to everyone like a complete lack of minimum wage laws, low corporate income taxes, or voucher programs for schools. You know, real pillars of Socialism.

While Scandinavian economies aren't exactly socialist, they aren't exactly capitalistic either. Compared to what you have in USA, they are definitely far more towards socialism than your capitalism is, or perhaps ever will be. They are very heavily regulated forms of capitalism, with very powerful leftist parties(we don't have anything else, even our most fiscally ultra-right parties are really far more to the left than your Democrats) and labor unions dictating the amount of regulation as they see fit. Basically all schools are public(even universities) and free of charge, almost all infrastructure is state-owned and public health service is almost free for all citizens. In my country, two large state-owned corporations own more than 90% of grocery stores. Strong alcohol is sold only in state-owned monopoly and gambling is also state-owned monopoly. You can call that capitalism, but it sure as hell isn't capitalism in the same sense USA has. And then there is of course the welfare aspect to all this, but I'm not in the mood to describe it right now.

I didn't read that in the article. They said nothing of the sort. They repeated the assertion that "all options are on the table" and said that:

The Southern Command said in a tweet on Thursday that it was prepared to discuss "how we can support the future role" of Venezuelan armed forces leaders who "restore constitutional order," when invited by Guaido.
Sounds like this "military intervention" would take place after Guaido took control of the nation (and only upon his explicit invitation) in order to help his military reform and become combat ready.

Guaido is a playboy and a massive failure. And a commie just like Maduro and Chavez.

I hope he dies from ass cancer.

I can mostly agree with you even if you are baiting, he is also dragged by the old guard that simply refuse to take the next step to end this, they just dont care, as i said before Guaido was chosen because the others were unlikable as shit and were called sellouts and traitors, he was just a new face that was chosen because no one knew him, but his spark is dying, if in a couple of days he doesn't do anything worthwhile the people is going to apply "The Capriles Effect" on him aka being shunned for failing to meet expectations and for lying to his people (Capriles did not even bother to fight for the election that he clearly won because he was afraid of a civil war), The effect is also the responsible of the big ass abstention in the past elections, the opposition did not go to those elections because they knew Maduro was going to steal them, they did not go because they knew PEOPLE HATE THEM AS MUCH AS THE CHAVIZTAS and refused to vote for them or for ANYONE for that matter

What would the Venezuelan people vote for?

What would the Venezuelan people vote for?

You will have to destroy all the cheats mechanisms that Chavez put in place to never be unseated and sanitize the entire system of commies for people to even consider go to vote again , It cant be done with Maduro there, people is tired of the promises of "This is going to end soon, the time is coming, is almost there, any time now", they are also tired of all the red tape that they are putting to try to force a change of government, all is pure "meetings", "discussions" and all that shit

A nuclear blast in Caracas at this rate.

Nah, a waste of resources, Maduro only go to two places and only go outside of Caracas under very dire circumstances, you only have to bomb Fort Tiuna with Bunker Busters or the Palace of Miraflores, believe me no one is going to give a shit if those two places are obliterated from the face of the earth

I don't want any nuclear blasts in our precious New World. We should all be banding together for Fortress America and telling the Old World to kick rocks.
But communism has taken root too deeply in the land of Bolivar, the only option left is to cleanse the land with the blinding light of freedom.

From the looks of it the Venezuelan people aren't entirely convinced anymore. This is a war of attrition that the United States can win. Just have to keep hands off and let them fail on their own merits.

What are you talking about? The ones who aren't commies have left or are leaving to make room for the nuclear exorcism

Before they decide to nuke the country I think we should have a Glow in the Dark pose as a Charismatic Communist preacher who convinces all the Californians to follow him to the promised land before we nuke it.

It worked for Jim Jones.
