How is it ironic? They are nationalists and they are bring a small number of people with some sort of demographic connection (no matter how faint) to the motherland (cf. the Law of Return). Moreover, many are are willing to go back if/when Maduro and his buddies is gone.

I have an Italian-descent coworker who was shamed the other day for saying they're proud of their ancestry by a fat white liberal. Apparently it could make our very staff filled with foreigners feel bad about themselves- except that a lot of them are from east asia where national pride is a common facet. The fat white liberal also blamed the japanese rape of asia on "white supremacy" before huffing away from a conversation they were not even a part of. The world is retarded.

It was so much of a shock to the Chaviztas that they even forgot to turn on the bots to rise trending topics on twitter, they just barely managed to raise like 2000 tweets 20 minutes ago, they are confused and asking what the hell happened, so even the most highest echelon did not know that they were not going to touch him

Now they are spinning it so hard and with stupid fake hope, like for example that this is a strategy of Maduro to get rid of Guaido (pffft) the only one that has appeared in Mario Silva that he returned to TV for god know why only to demand that the ambassadors that received Guaido in the airport be kicked out of the country, but after that tweet he went radio silent, ALL the government even Diosdado that vowed and he was going to arrest him has not talked in public

Thread question, especially for our using publically available data Intelligence Operatives:
back in early February, I saw it was estimated Venezuela had about a weeks worth of gasoline left. I know they made a open market Crude-for-Gas deal with some Russian energy broker (which involved no cash, so steered clear of the financial markets), but haven't seen anything about the situation since. Did they find a new supply?

The US could, and has with excuses about as good as that, but it doesn't seem likely with things as they currently are.
Trump seems to have taken the sensible road of not wanting to risk the lives of Americans for the freedoms of those who are dumb enough to have given them away and too cowardly to take them back. For a crazed warmonger that was going to start a nuclear war with Twitter, Trump's really only using soft power here. Not even a B-2 flyover.

That's probably right move, since it looks like things will collapse on their own.
