I just wanna watch this piece of biological waste dragged, mutilated, raped, tortured and killed on the streets of caracas! When will it happen?!

My friend in Los Teques is saying the government is rounding up any young people they see in public now and taking them away, even stopping buses and pulling them off.

They're in for a rude surprise if they push too hard. Venezuela fields T72s, AMX-30s and some older light tanks (AMX-10s I think they're called) plus BMP-1 and other armored fighting vehicles.
Assuming they've been properly maintained, sure. You can't just stick armored vehicles in a shed and leave them there; well, maybe the circa WW2/Korean war stuff. But long term storage means removing parts that can degrade, sealing the tank up so critters can't get in, etc.

And of course there's the issue of fuel and armaments...

Yeah I don't exactly have a lot of faith in the idea that the government too retarded to figure out how to make corn flakes after kicking Kellogg's out also did a bang-up job maintaining their armor core. Most of those tanks are likely hollowed-out rustbuckets.

After he finished he only mentioned that he wish people pray for him and for the nation, then he claimed that he is willing to do the legislative (not presidential) elections again he believe he is being clever because "no one specified what kind of election was requested" he did not even finish that sentence when France immediately shut it down

No Maduro, people is not stupid and they are not going to do another election with your corrupted CNE, give up

After that he again requested to a dialogue with the opposition, Guaido said "unless is to negotiate you getting out of the presidency the answer is still no"
Does Maduro still have a chance of leaving Venezuela with his skin intact? Would anybody give him asylum?

I think that apart from being badly maintained, the training of the regular smuck in the Venezuelan army aren't up to standard. You can have the best amour in the world but still lose to someone with worse equipment, if their training is superior. I also don't think the moral in the army aren't that good either.

Now this is interesting.

The C-146A Wolfhound’s primary mission is to provide U.S. Special Operations Command flexible, responsive and operational movement of small teams needed in support of Theater Special Operations Commands. Airlift missions are conducted by Air Force Special Operations Command aircrews to prepared and semi-prepared airfields around the world.

The military are always the first or last to go in a revolution. Unfortunately it's been the latter, dragging this out longer than it had to. BTFO Maduro.

Despite how retarded the Venezuelan regime has acted in the past, some credit I can give them is that they at least treated the military good enough to avoid the military turning on them first. I imagine they get paid better or has more privileges than the normal population has to keep that in order.

A few months ago Maduro was kissing gold bars on TV while his people ate zoo animals.
This couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.

Snatch Squad incoming?
Most likely a long range recce team to 'observe' or a group of profession shit-stirrers. USAF C17 landed in Bogota earlier today. My first guess would be a Ranger platoon and gear to backstop whoever was on the JSOC plane out of Panama City.

In other news, a ruskie 777 landed in Caracas earlier today, was on the ground for less than an hour and took off again.

If Maduro does flee then it would only be a matter of time before he surfaces and ends up getting deported back. At that point the Guaido government would be settled in and ready to prosecute his ass. I would not be surprised if he ended up like Ceausescu.
Pity. The salt from Maduro's little government-in-exile whining about THE POOR OPPRESSED VENEZUELAN PEOPLE UNDER THE IRON FIST OF THE US BACKED TYRANT GUAIDO could sustain the Internationale Clique for decades.

It would be very easy for him to get to Cuba and either stay there or go on to Russia, Turkey, China, or any of the many countries would refuse to extradite him back to the new Venezuela.

That's legit horrifying.

What is known about recruitment of young people in Venezuela
Updated: 01/30/2019 14:15

A denounce by deputy Americo De Grazia alerted Venezuelans, the parliamentarian said that the intelligence service (Sebin) would be kidnapping teenagers in Zulia state as part of a plan to recruit young people in Venezuela to allegedly take them to the border.

The information that ran like wildfire in social networks and in the messaging application like WhatsApp was denied by Zulian journalist Gustavo Ocando Alex, however, he assured that there were indeed several cases of soldiers who forcibly took young people.

The communicator expressed through his Twitter account that "it is a lie that there is a recruitment process in Zulia", a source close to the process of enlistment in the Armed Forces informs me. "The GNB are forced to fulfill their quota of enlisted men and there are some of them who take boys by force to the barracks . "

“Es mentira que haya un proceso de reclutamiento en Zulia”, me informa una fuente cercana al proceso de alistamiento en la Fuerza Armada. “A los GNB los obligan a cumplir su cuota de alistados y hay algunos de ellos que llevan muchachos a la fuerza a los cuarteles” (1/3)

He explained that there was an irregular situation with "the recruit" but that the soldiers were in charge of resolving.

"Yesterday, Tuesday, January 29, there were 4 cases of young people taken by force to the barracks in Maracaibo . Authorities in charge of enlistment released them instantly, the source says, when they heard them express that they did not want to be there. There was reprimand to the acting GNB ".

He said that the military "take out once and for all the young people who lead to the barracks".

"One or another (military) are bringing the boys, but once they get here we take them out immediately. They are taking measures on that, "says the source, near the Zulian military units.

The recruitment of young people in Venezuela reached another level
The recruitment of young people in various parts of Aragua by national government officials led to the suspension of classes at the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences of the University of Carabobo.

On his Twitter account, Dean Benito Hamidiannotified that the activities will be suspended on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The excuse will be the strike called by workers of the UC, the reality is that there are recruits in different parts of Aragua and Carabob or.

The allegations about the recruitment of minors, presumably to subject them to compulsory military service even outside the regulatory age, was vehemently denounced by hundreds of users who had witnessed as security forces took several young people, some of them to the doors of his lycées.
