As a person who paid attention to Venezuela for the past 5 years, I remember a time when Venezuela went through such an insane period of hyperinflation especially during COVID in 2020. People in Venezuela had to use an app to pay attention to the situation in Venezuela in terms of the money's value and had to use wads of cash to pay for certain items as mass starvation runs rampant. The currency in Venezuela has fairly stabilized for now but it's highest denomination was 1 million bolivar's before removing the 6 zeros but is still relatively weak.

That's the problem. We've been hyper fixating on Venezuela since the mid to late 90s. Let it die in the corner and let's pretend it does not exist. These "gibs me that" moron elected Hugo Chavez. Hopefully, after they all die of hunger, we can drain all the natural resources and give the land back to the animals. This is what I would do with all poor countries.
