So I bought the game last night and played a few hours. I quite like the aesthetic, magic so far seems a tad lame though. There's privacy policy and EULA notices plastered all over the game, and Steam reviews seem to have the data collection as their biggest gripe. Given this is a Tencent title, shouldn't this be a red enough flag? I gave a fake region and turned off the telemetry collection option, but I don't believe that I'm not being raped somehow.

I'm having so much fun with it right now. I'm level 67 on my 100% pure melee character, and just killed Cyril the Cursed Smith and will move on to Silverlight Hills this weekend. I have no friends, so I'm just playing solo, but it's good enough that I'll probably do another playthrough when I finish.

Dunno if you're playing on brutal atm but if you're not, on your next playthrough do yourself a favor and try it.

Is the multiplayer worth it? I avoid games like rust because getting your shit kicked in and 20 hours of grinding getting looted by a 12 year old doesn't sound fun. V rising multiplayer gives me rust vibes

I never had a good time with the multiplayer but that's probably because I suck.
