Could always be worse. At least the UK didn't end up like Austro-Hungary who lost over a million men in the conflict in military deaths alone and still had it empire and its monarchy come crashing down never to return.

I think that back in the 1990s when H1Bs first came into being a thing it made some sense. There were a lot of talented people from eastern Europe that were unemployed after the Eastern Block fell. Japan and the rest of eastern Asia were still upward trending societies with new great people coming about everyday there inspite of the economic crash there then. The middle east even still had few good talented people you'd want to employ back then. But a lot has changed and the current global demographic change since the 90s means we would no longer will ever get those kind of people ever again.

The real problem isn't just that the H1Bs are replacing highly desired middle class jobs but it is also importing an another hostile pro-globalist ruling class that hates the people of this country. Who absolutely have the power to destroy this country. Look at how the Indians got up the ranks in Silicon Valley and how they see the rest of us.

Another issue is that the argument used for O-1 visas are used for H1B, when they shouldn't be. Just another motte and bailey argument.
