God bless you, I mean this sincerely. Everything you said is one hundred percent true. Raccoons, skunks and possums don't have a natural affinity for rabies, its simply endemic in NYS among wild critters, mainly because DEC/NYS won't fund and implement a rabies eradication program for wild animals. Bats, and I believe its particular to certain species of bats, not only can harbor rabies asymptomatically, they are also suspected of harboring hantaviruses and other lethal pathogens without being affected so they really do need experienced and careful handling. Bats truly are a natural rabies vector but they should just be left alone.

DEC is just plain nuts. Avoiding them is really the best unless an animal is truly rabid or mortally injured.

I mean, they did that in 2016. Trump winning was so unfathomable to them that they went fucking insane. The reason they went all in on Russian collusion is because that's the only way the world makes sense to them. They were told, repeatedly, that Trump wasn't winning, that Trump couldn't possibly win. Then he did. So the only way the world continues to make sense and they can continue to function is if he cheated.

things are looking up for us so far, I wouldn't get complacent, and they still are most likely going to try to cheat again, but I dont think Kamala "Nigger" Harris is going to be living in the White House

Fully agree. It’s the lamest shit ever. It’s like the US without the shared history and culture, without the tech industry, without the freedoms, without the opportunities and entrepreneurship and vertical mobility - without anything that actually makes America great, but with a double dose of all things current year and shitty. Not even a space program…

What is the EU even? Anything that happens here is downstream from the US, a delayed, feeble defensive reaction to anything going on overseas. Compare to the Chinese, those at least are a competitor forcing the US forward, and not a useless vassal state like the EU.

Example:
- The US creates generative AI that was supposed to be impossible a few years ago.
- China iterates on it, creates their own thing after a year, probably not quite as good.
- The EU spends billions of € (lol) and multiple years to… come up with a few unenforceable nanny state laws about AI.

Someone get me out of here.
