The reason the PA shit is so weird and why they were able to close the "polls" early is, based on my current understanding, because they do not have early voting in that state? County? Those poll lines aren't even poll lines, it's a "service" where you basically walk up to fill in your mail-in ballot, and they'll totally take care of delivering it on election day. It's a poor man's early voting, a loophole to allow the same convivence, and it seems absolutely nuts to me that they're trusting this nonsense, it's basically a bizarre combo of early voting and ballot harvesting. I'm pretty sure you can't even get in trouble for electioneering at these places, because it's not technically a polling place, it's a form pickup and then mail-drop-off line?

I haven't seen much indicating this is anything nefarious, but I do wonder if everyone even knows what they're even doing when they show up

And then all the kids just found ways to eat unhealthy anyway.
Forced apples in lunches? They'd just stick forks or straws in it, or throw it at other tables.
Shitty sandwiches? They'd just put like 6 packets of Mayo on it.
Literally any side-extra of less "healthy" snacks available? They'd just fill their tray with 4 snack items and not get a proper meal.
Or of course the best outcome: for some kids, if there was nothing that particularly appealed to them, they just wouldn't eat lunch.

This is what I thought as well, but it appears this process is supported and likely funded by the counties. It’s straddling a weird line of what exactly is a state service and a private operation.
