The electoral calculus is changing. On CNN today, instead of the weeks long assumption Kamala would beat Trump they’re now questioning the process of what happens if there’s a 50/50 split down the middle.

They’re not going to make the rigging so obvious this time as they know we know. They’ll have a 1 to 1 democrat vote for every republican vote. They’re going to draw this out before using the military to crush dissenters. During this tie period Kamala will be in office doing whatever she can to enact total control.

Makes me wonder what CNN’s play is in all this. I was pretty sure they deliberately set Biden up to fail at the debates to get him out of the running, but they don’t really seem like they want to carry water for Kamala either. Is this buyer’s remorse? Or were they hoping that a different candidate would have been selected?

I swear I knew this kid in high school.

This is somewhat related to what @Bog-standard Poster said. If you aren't one of the forgotten millennial men he described, then you knew this kid growing up. I sure did. He was the loveable weirdo who managed to get along with everyone. He had his own autistic interests, but he went from clique to clique, just being himself, cracking jokes, and somehow got along with everybody. Probably got up to some shitposting in his free time. Occasionally played harmless pranks on teachers and school staff.

Huh. Maybe the left was actually right about something. Maybe Vance is weird, but he's that loveable weirdo we all liked hanging out with.

The problem is that, if they're quite literally going to rig it (e.g. stuffing ballot boxes), they cannot do so blatantly outside of their strongholds. Trump has built up quite the army of poll watchers and lawyers for this election cycle and they are going to focus on battleground states and counties.

No one gives a flying fuck about the number of votes in Chicago because Illinois is not going to vote for Trump. Massachusetts could see a spike of 1 billion voters, all for Kamala, and it would not matter because it is not a battleground state and never will be. Any chicanery will go down in places like Pennsylvania.

What I'm really interested to see is, if Kamala loses, how she behaves when it comes time to certify the votes.

This whole thing with the left against vance sure does come off as some petty high school drama bullshit.

It's as if the left is either that bully that likes to make everyone's lives miserable, or those group of outcasts that were constantly made fun of and are now green with envy regarding vance.

Perhaps they didn't know how bad Kamala was until they had her. Biden wasn't going to win, everyone knew that, so out he goes. He's an embarrassment that couldn't be hidden any longer.
That's fine, there's kamala and there were rumors that Biden wasn't going to endorse her so that left the door open to other options even if a slim chance of that.
But the Biden pulled a fuck you and DID endorse her (allegedly).
Then there's Kamala. She's not playing the game, she's not giving her interviews for the the few views old guard media has left, she's not answering questions, she isn't likeable, and she's going mask off socialism which may turn people away from the party and open some eyes. Not only is she loathsome, she's a threat to their reign which has already been tenuous in recent years. She's not helping them, she's not talking to them, and she's a massive bitch.
Maybe they think it doesn't matter if she loses because then it would show a sign that someone who isn't willing to play the rules and keep their ultra liberal agenda hidden better not run because they won't get media support. Then hope for the board to be reset in 2028 once Trump is out and more palatable democratic options who will play nice and aren't retarded are up for bat again.

That is one possibility that comes to mind, but it's pure fanfiction as I don't know what I'm talking about.

Edit: Or what Welper said and they know they'll get views under trump lol

Not sure if that's a typo, but since they love to use the phrase "Our Democracy" to describe neo-Marxist policies, I suppose that equating Communism with "Our Democracy" is accurate.

To tell a small story about this, I was once helping my grandmother move furniture around her bedroom, and I caught a sliver of an MSNBC anchor on her TV saying that Affirmative Action being repealed is a "threat to Our Democracy". What do college admissions have to do with a Democratic Republic form of government?

The media sees itself as the kingmaker. TV made JFK look better than Nixon, after all. They're suppression of the laptop and amplification of lies about Trump(among other things) let Biden take the WH, but it hasn't worked out for them. The public's trust in the media is below shit and when they saw Biden without the filter, they cut their losses, ready to embrace and carry water for whoever was the next on deck.
But that turned out to be a harpy that doesn't want to play ball, won't give them clips to use. And they can only take that insult for so long.
