And it all started with Biden changing the Afghanistan withdrawal date and then saying Putin taking a little bit of Ukraine wouldn't be a problem. He started off weak and deceptive. You can't really come back from that, no matter how many bombs you throw around.
Us Europeans ridiculed Trump at first because he told us to start spending our fair share, We loathed him for that. Not building up our defensive capabilities because the common consensus that "pfft, we have NATO and daddy America's nukes." and that it was believed that the nature of the EU and integration would prevent continental war (this sort of belief really appeared in the interwar period with Europhiles). The modern neoliberal belief that by opening up trade, and integrating our economies it will prevent war has been decisively proven to be false. The problem with Game Theory is that not every player is rational, or may have hidden motives for when they act.

If Trump was like "oh yeah, you'll have Biden soon and he'll do X, Y and Z" then they would have started actually building up their defensive capabilities earlier. Of course, thou must toe the party line of orange man bad.

Biden changing the withdrawal date is funny by itself. The entire reason he did it is to move to the more symbolic date of 9/11 and put himself in a position to take credit for it. While ignoring that to accomplish this he had to completely break the already brokered agreement with Afghanistan's then leadership. Weakening them for the Taliban to assume control.

Changing something in a minor way to take credit for it is a classic worthless middle manager tactic to maintain an aura of relevancy.

It wasn't even a good symbol. What are you saying making the withdrawal date on 9/11? Blow up a building in our biggest city and by golly we'll fuck your country up for 20 years before slinking away?

I'm sure he was picturing all the loving media coverage of his amazing speech, which would begin "Today, twenty years ago, was a day that shall live in infamy", or words to that effect, and would end with the flag over the last US base being lowered in a glitzy ceremony, while everyone praised him for being the president that finally brought peace to the world.

Or perhaps his media relations manager was imagining it, while Joe sucked on an ice-cream and kicked the dog.

For anyone concerned about this, though I doubt anyone is, this study was only 1,500 people and 54% didn't like Swift and 6% didn't even know who she is.

The 18% being touted as the most amazing thing is counteracted by the 17% that said her endorsement would make them not like a candidate. 55%, suprise suprise, didn't actually care.

Taylor "not a psyop" Swift's astroturfed massive political influence has barely any significance and is basically just in the headlines to make conservatives youtubers seethe.

Everything I've seen from Carroll tells me her lawyers have been dying bit by bit basically since they first agreed to represent her.
I mean they won $83mil from a presidant over pure bs and they know there is no way he’ll get that overturned because the courts hate him, I think they are happy their careers are set for life honestly.

Pretty sure her Lawyer is embarrassed she said the quiet part out loud.
not the be-all victim that's Epstein victims.
victim of correct politics
just Trump raked over the coals in the court because of meetoo immunity during 2016-2020.

How do you have enough managers and excess contractors to have 12k positions to cut in the first place? How bloated was that middle manglement?
PL: I was once a part-time supervisor at UPS. Your job is to a) babysit lazy, whiny union yahoos, and b) take abuse for their fuckups from full-time sups with demands so unreasonable that they make Gunny Hartman look like a teddy bear.

They promise you a few dollars raise; it only costs you your union protection, your dignity, and any positive opinions you may have about the human race.

Laying off 12k wageslaves who are undoubtedly already burnt out by their mid-20s is doing them a favor. Just about any pasture is greener than the yoke of the Brown Weenie.

I've been gone from that job for the better part of a decade, and still have occasional nightmares about it.

Well, the warrior potato pic might have been fake and gay but this seems to be real

MSNBC Host Joy Reid Sorry After Being Caught Dropping F-Bomb on Air (archive.ph)
“I was chatting during a clip that was playing, and you know, we try to keep this show very PG-13, so I just want to apologize to anyone who was listening to my behind-the-scenes chatter,” she said. “I deeply, deeply apologize for that.”
