My problem is with what I see said far more often, which is that this shit is an effective solution to *fixing* the country by politicians (namely Desantis).

Here's the real beauty of America falling apart as a country; it doesn't affect everyone equally. Well managed states will still retain their civilization even through lean times; they just get annoyed that everything costs more and less imports are available. Poorly managed states--like California and New York--crumble under the weight of nigger societies. They have more people than they know what to do with, are too feckless to enforce martial law, and what police they do have are so underfunded (from Defunding) that they can't be everywhere at once. A US that naturally turns into a confederation is one that can't project power abroad, which is good because we keep arming assholes and then act shock Pikachu face when they act like assholes.

Of course it could be averted with sane, sensible leadership willing to say "No, fuck off" and I consider it ideal. But if we can't have that, we have to make due.

Ok, I’ll try to give some possible answers that’re less pithy. These people have been fed this shit their entire lives, and I shouldn’t need to explain to you how credulous the average schmuck is. There’s also the outsized influence the war lobby has on US politics keeping things from getting too spicy. The fact that there are grumblings about reigning this shit in at all means one or both of those have less hold than they used to. It’s not ideal, clearly, but it is a start. Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Even the fucking scenery and environment seems decayed and broken down now. Maybe it is nostalgia for a better time, maybe it is the fall season, but everything just seems so dark and dreary now, like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. Trump isn't even running at full 2016 campaign energy and I don't really blame him due to all the shit being flinged at him.

I think non trival strikes on Iran is likely. One of the reasons I was against Hillary winning is because we know the neo-cons wanted war with Iran. Look at how shitty they were at Trump for wanting to pull troops out of Syria. They even lied to him about troop numbers. Something that should have been a big news story, but it wasn't because it was pro-war.

They impeached Trump over Ukraine. As he was delaying the war they wanted with Ukraine. They're now having a hissy fit because he has spoken out about how they wanted him in invade Iran. The classified documents scandal is in large part because he discussed how they wanted the war. It's easy to notice the patterns. He leaves office. Ukraine War. Iran surely is next.

I always assumed they'd convince Trump to start the war with Iran on his way out the door so they could have it and blame him. It seems he was strong enough to stop that. So why wouldn't they now start it on the way out with Biden? If Biden or a Dem wins a second term. They have the press on their side. If Trump or a R wins the next Presidency. When the war goes bad they can blame them.

Even this conflict. Many of us have noticed Israel always likes times of international crisis to go extra hard on the Palestinians. We've been waiting for this since the Ukraine war started. Now they have the perfect excuse. With open calls for genocide. How convenient.

But for how long? Biden's admin have no love for the press. News sites are fucking dying because no one fucking trusts the media any longer. They're gonna have to gain that trust back to remain in business. How much longer will the press hold water for the dems? I mean, probably a while since the press is filled with true believers. But at some point, the share holders and those who hold the purse strings are gonna tell them to knock it the fuck off so they can make some money. Maybe the future is just individuals doing actual journalistic work while the government keeps propping up legacy media.

Hamas is the largest political party in Palestine and holds a majority of the seats in the Palestinian parliament. They took power in 2006 with roughly 68% of the vote.

They are literally the democratically elected government of Palestine.
