No real surprise they would ignore it. They are probably planning to rules lawyer it and insist it is a totally different thing.

I wanna see them defy SCOTUS. Open that can of worm Biden.
unironically, we need to see scotus tested. whether its trump or biden, we need to know what steps scotus will take to ensure their rulings are followed.
I don't consider "they can't add more to our debt" to be a mess. Remember, it's not "we can't pay our bills" it's "we can't take out more loans."

Let it stay vacant until 2024.
Government Shutdowns under democrats are always miserable for regular citizens. They shut down shit you use and keep open the depts that funnel money into their warchests.

SCOTUS has no power to enforce its rulings. The only body that can take action against a President who decides to defy court orders is Congress via impeachment, and if they're not going to impeach Joe Biden for failing to uphold his oath of office when it comes to immigration law, why would they start now?

Comedy Option: Clarence Thomas says the ATF is unconstitutional and any fed that tries to take your guns is a traitor to the US people. The matters will sort themselves out in due time.

Andrew Jackson proved that.

That would be funny for all of two, maybe five hours. I cannot imagine what shitshow would erupt from that happening but I know for a certainty it wouldn't be funny.

It's the perfect time for it. Every spooky season needs Halloween decorations, and I can't think of a better Halloween decoration than a bunch of bodies.

They COULD start taking emergency appeals that skip the entire appellate process to slap this shit down.

So far they've been shunting everything no matter how egregious to the snail docket.

I'm not one of their leech constituents.
As a productive member of society I am banned from using them as a matter of their ideology.
I literally could not care less if the welfare queens and kangz don't get their gibs.
I hope they riot and burn down more cities.

Because the number of people in Washington who understand student loans or even basic economics can be counted on one hand.
Yeah. I mean anything like "employers can help pay your student loans and the amount they pay they can write off " would help some and ticks all the boxes GOPe likes.

Telling people screwed over by the educational complex "lol fuck you pay it back" isnt a great strategy. The underwasket weaver degree holder from harvard has a comfy ngo job funded by die money. The real people being hurt are people who got psych or poli sci (soft science degrees) from overpriced state schools (many of which require you live on campus the first year btw). Most are women and asking women to take responsbility is a non starter. Lets not even get started on education majors.

Also try getting a job with a math, chemistry or physics bachelors. They will laugh at you with only a bachelors and most real stem programs are hard enough that taking the loans is real attractive especially when you are told not graduating with good grades in stem is the same as not graduating at all. Sense almost all of them are basically just feeders into upper level programs of some flavor.

The only jobs you can get with a bachelors is nursing or computer touching and the wisdom atm is ai is gonna hurt computer touching. (Its probably gonna hit nursing worse in the long run)

The GOP's new blood is far more clever than that, at least on the "ideas" side of the house.
They want to "seize the endowments" of the universities as part of student loan reform.
This is a 1-2 punch. First, it reduces Democrat appeal for students. Second, it punishes the shit out of colleges for going woke.

This idea has been sidelined unfortunately by the necessary GOP civil war.
The neocon scumbags need to be moved out of the way before this can gain traction.

The hot-blooded young college-aged "eat the rich" types will be converted to red voters if this is able to be moved to the fore.
GOP running on plundering the marxist hedge funds nominally called "University Endowments" to pay off student loans is pure perfection.

I personally recommend the GOP federally legislate a 50% liability to university endowments for unpaid student debts. This would create a financial punishment to universities for funding bullshit feminist basketweaving classes.

That is actually a pretty smart idea, shift the blame from the taxpayer being forced to pay for the retarded degrees onto the universities for starting the scam in the first place.

Taxing the endowments is fine but its the equivalent of solving weath inequality by taking it from musk or bezos. Its a drop in the bucket.

Some kind of forgiveness or reform has to happen. Though whats likely is it just hyperinflated away

This isn't the national debt, it's the student loan debts.
Student loans are estimated at roughly 1 trillion.
The ones that are truly crushing are probably 25% of that balance.
The endowments these universities sit on collectively are easily worth that.
I say the math actually adds up here. (seriously, just look up the endowment backing Harvard alone)

Further:
It cuts off the scam at the source and ends its proliferation.
In the process, it hurts a major part of the democrat machine by ending a student-to-activist pipeline.
Even further, it converts the students put through that pipeline to GOP voters.

Even if, as you say, it does not clean up the mess, it shuts off the spigot continuing to spill milk on the floor.
The political power granted by it will provide more options to address the remaining fallout.

Seizing the Endowments is a "niggers voting for us for 200 years" moment, but there are more college grads than niggers, and eliminating these Antifa Factories is a public good in and of itself. There literally is no loss doing this.

So lets says there is a dozen Harvards endowments which is 50 billion. Where are you getting the other 500 billion from? I dont believe that its a trillion. I agree schools should get it taxed but dont sct like seizing it solves the problem by itself.

Harvard isnt the rampant consumer loan consumer in any case. Its your state school. Watch people flip when they get told they cant watch their "roll tide" anymore.

Pro-Dem pollster, D+6, still losing to Orange Man.

They might actually activate some middling republicans to vote for Jeffries to ram as much gayness through while they can in the next year, Tom Cotton has already been turning into Lindsey Graham 2.0 because he's gotten more and more left as if he was either caught with hookers or another man.

Notice the independent candidate generic there.
My hypothesis that RFK Splits the Trump vote and "Ross Perots" us into Marxist Hell is substantiated here.
He's a long time political operative and knows what he's doing.
Fucking snake.
Where are you getting the other 500 billion from

Did you read what I posted?
50% liability for defaulted student debts already eliminates the other 500 billion.
That assumes a 100% default rate, which is definitely not happening.
The numbers add up.

Watch people flip when they get told they cant watch their "roll tide" anymore.
The football teams are always a source of revenue, not cost, for a school. They are untouched.

If they did try to go the route of student endowments it would be easy enough to bargain. Bring the big claim first and demand endowments cover 100% then whittle that down and cover the rest with what would otherwise be going to Ukraine and funding tranny flags in Pakistan or renaming bases to protect dead people's feels or whatever the fuck. Win or lose on the proposition that's a hell of a campaign draw - "why the hell are they willing to fund these colleges and Ukraine and foreign countries and spending billions renaming bases, but they can't cover $X billion as an investment in american prosperity" or some bullshit. People would be eating out of their hands and it would be a plan that could feasibly work for a lot cheaper than the alternatives.

Fucking snake.

There is a huge propaganda push against Kennedy, but I think they are too scared to take the odds on that plan. The problem is there is a quite small window where RFK is Trump-like enough to draw more Trump votes than Biden and the are not up to the level of prediction and media manipulation here.

It will probably come down to mail in "voting".

I'm not seeing how RFK splits the Trump base. Trump's voters are ride or die on him and RFK Jr. doesn't have enough of a policy crossover to get them. Plus, RFK's main demo would be disenfranchised Democrats.
